This was Avril at her rawest, she wrote most of this album based on her feelings after the passing of her grandpa so she poured all of her angst into it.

I had a niece who was a huge Avril fan. A complete goth. So, of course, I gave her a Brittany Spears CD for Christmas to annoy her. Inside the box were also tickets to see Avril. Her completely opposite sister claimed the CD.
