Provincial hockey was the year I discovered her.i was in the locker room with my team(Nipawin Northeast Stars)Double AA skill level Hockey(which is also a Canadian professional hockey Circuit in Canada Saskatchewan) back in 2001 and 2002. I had my Yellow old 1990s Stereo with me at the time skimming through radio stations trying to find heavy rock music to listen to with the team.when I first heard Avril lavigne's Voice doing the promotional speech for the song of complicated I had no idea what I had coming to me.i secretly fell hard for her(why do you gotta go make things complicated).the song just stayed with in my mind my whole life.i even played the popular chick songs in different webpages side by side constantly switching trying to decide which chick song was better.Avril lavigne or some other girl(and I mean alot of other girls were on The sence as well AND I MEAN A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER CHICK FLICK WANNABES)Lol makes me proud to see that Avril lavigne is back and in good health doing well to mend our broken hearts.

Sucks doesn’t it? Not only do phones ruin the experience of the gig for others in attendance, they also ruin the connection between artist and the fans, a connection that was rather close in decades gone past. A phone is a boot to the mouth for the artists as well considering they rely on the money for the gigs. If everyone can view footage or complete concerts from home without paying a penny it’s another kick to the face for the artist. I just wish people would drop their phones at gigs and live in the moment instead of trying to get the best footage - buy that shit on DVD, BluRay or from a streaming site that legitimately supports the artists. How can you enjoy a show while watching a phone screen? It’s like “look at me! I am here” but it makes me think “you might be there but are you really there? The experience is there to be lived, not there to be filmed” meaning that they miss out on half of the experience.

@Jobbie: I just want to reply to your point about depriving the artists of revenue. There is an automated copyright claim on this video that forces ads to play at the beginning and then sends the revenue to the rights holders. The same is true for all the videos I shot at this show, as well as the vast majority of concert videos I post. I find this system annoying because I don't monetize my content and I want these videos to be ad-free for people, but it's not true that the artists get no money. According to Social Blade, this specific video has generated as much as $1,400 for Avril and the other rights holders. Multiply that across lots of similar videos, and it's a decent chunk of money.
