Avro Vulcan @ RAF Cosford Airshow 2013

So after queuing for 4 hours to get into the show this year this more than made up for the wait to get in. This was a totally stunning display beautifully flown by Kev Rumens. Quite and graceful and loud and dirty when needed. This footage also includes the unexpected formation with the tiny RV8tors Display Team. Enjoy!

Superb footage thank you for posting. Cosford was the first air show I ever went to as a child and from that moment I was hooked. I moved to Scotland so I only get to see one air show a year at leuchars now. The Vulcan will always be my favourite aircraft.

Likewise, was caught up in the blasted Motorway Tailback all morning, but being able to watch the Tin Triangle thunder directly overhead first hand made it all worthwhile, hope to see her again at RN Naval Station Yovilton in about 9 days

Had the great honour of meeting Wing Co MARTIN WITHERS DFC @ Welshpool 12th April 2014...he was aware of me discovering BB6 @ Rio De Janiero Airport in 1982....the missile armed Vulcan BB6 was impounded by the Brazilians and the crew arrested........they where released ahead of the 1982 Papal visit to Rio....

Actually the 'English Electric Canberra' was the first Jet Bomber to have that distinction (Wing Cdr Roland Beamont i beleive being the one to throw it round the sky at Farnbrough "like a fighter"), the Yank's were so impressed they bought the Canberra, over one of their own designs, to my reccollecton the first foreign warplane they'd bought since WW1 ^_^ That said the good old Vulcan is the only one to be penalized at an Airshow for "conduct unbecoming of a Bomber" XD

it was a good sight, but yet again people are admiring a machine that is made to kill human beings. i felt kinda confused when i was there to be honest. people were cheering and laughing. and there i was thinking this very machine can be used against us one day and will you be cheering then. but still a great piece of engineering.
