And that is also why we have to appreciate the stations who promote alternative music. By the way: I strongly recommend the Belgian version of this show "Liefde voor muziek".

Don't think she will but. It's mainly down to Floor being way more flashy(powerful, etc etc). Personally, nothing beats Anneke in terms of female singers. She's just so lovely to listen to, her voice is something else.

I do not understand anyway why they keep compare these two beautiful singers, just because they sing both metal???? We do'nt do that in any other genre to other singers, why? In Holland the radio stations are more interested in making money by feeding the kids with musical duds as Femke Louise and Lil Kleine and the mainstream stars. They discovered Floor Jansen recently while she was already famous in many other countries. Just like Anneke van Giersbergen.

@@maanvis81 Even een opmerking, Belle heeft dit nummer niet geschreven. Het is de soundtrack van de gelijknamige Spaanse film uit 1998 met o.a. Emma Suarez en Paz Vega. Dino Fekaris en Freddie Perren hebben het nummer gecomponeerd. Ik vond het, net als de meeste Spaanse films, een hele goede film.

Anneke's voice is magical, it has it's own natural vibrato. One of the greats for sure. She and Floor have the utmost respect for each other, check out Valley of the Queens-Ayreon, and yes they are both Queens.

I agree. Anneke, Floor and Sharon den Adel are indeed befriended and collaborated with Arjen Lucassen for his Ayreon projects. Anneke did a concert tour in Europe with Sharon (Within´Temptation) in 2011. Three Dutch musical fairies, each of them with their own musical identity. There is no other country in the world who has such musical queens like these ladies.

Minor usually means; negative, depressive, serious, emotional and sadness, while major is: positive, uplifting, euphoric, and happyness. In this track, Anneke shows them both. While the refrains are in minor, the chorus is in major. Just listen.....and you'll see I'm right. Such a great and beautiful composed song!

yep, it's been a hit in Spain since 1999. The original is from the movie Sobreviviré, starring among others Paz Vega. Every Spanish diva has already performed this song. Anneke translated and performed it beautifully with her unique Anneke touch.
