I have a question....how did you calculate the amount of epoxy required when using the scrap wood? A bit of guess work or did you measure each scrap piece and subtract from the overall pour? Lovely work btw!

I poured the first layer of one centimeter, saw how much resin it took me and multiplied it by the thickness of the bars and subtracted it from the total mass

i saw a video, every 6 inches, take a measurement (widest edge to edge) (if it has an angle, you measure the high point edge), then take that average inch, multiply that by length, then height, then divide all by 61 (61cu/inch per liter) (so example, 36" long x 1.75" thick, and avg 7" / 61 = 7.22 liters ) *then add extra 10% to that volume. but that was done with one simple long 'river', for this, im not sure LOL

lol This guy has got some expensive tools and there’s and big items but it’s like you said you don’t need expensive tools to do the job ,some people just love nice expensive tools and some just use them as what they are intended for which is to get the job done & then you produce the piece of someone’s dreams not the the expensive tools and not to show off on you tube looking good with a brand new Mafell jig saw thinking you the bees knees with that 10 inch long depth of cut on it that you probably never ever gonna need to use again maybe 4 times in your wood working life . 1 thing for sure this guys knows his stuff he’s got his set up locked tight any table any size .same as black tail studio and four eyes furniture difference is they just put a lot more into view interaction that’s why cam nearly on 3 mill subs but he makes screwing in an insert look interesting and will probably be able to tell you about them for 30 min or make shaving bark off the slab look like it was the most satisfying past time ever 😂 Well you knock it I suppose when he hitting 3 mill nearly Another great video and I love this European walnut much better than the black walnut for some reason Unless it’s claro walnut of course which is my fav
