Almost perfect. All that's missing is a sliding top so that the material doesn't slide across the top by rubbing it. Half of the top with a thin extension to and abowe the cutting tool with the material attached. This sliding top would have a T-rail attached to the bottom and a sliding strip with rollers as a lower guide so that the spoil doesn't collect in the T-rail groove. (The guides should be reversed, the T-track should be at the top to slide over the slider with rollers)

I understand your situation. You need to look at both options and weigh the pros and cons. Perhaps you don’t necessarily need such high-quality execution, and you could easily go for a more budget-friendly option. If specific features or warranties are important to you, it’s worth considering all the details. However, if maximum quality isn’t required, it might be worth looking into more affordable alternatives.

should have looked at the assembly documents for the router table and put the front and back stretchers on right side up instead of upside down.
@avswood7 күн бұрын
I don't understand what you mean?
@Paul-1123-7 күн бұрын
@ if you look at the bottom crossbars front and back, the way you have attached them they have a larger lip on the bottom inside. That way a lot of dust will collect there because it forms a shelf that will hold a lot of sawdust. If you flip them so that the wider part is on the top facing inward, then there is no longer a place where dust can collect and pile up on the inside, and the smooth surface on the top of the crossbar gives the table a more finished and sturdier look.

Banggood used to be real value for money, pricing their products at a reasonable profit margin. However, they have learned that by pricing to compare with the likes of Woodpecker, they can charge a lot more than they really need to and still remain highly competitive against the likes of Woodpecker.
@avswood6 сағат бұрын

Me personally I think it works. Then that’s why we have vanilla and chocolate right? Vocals can be very helpful but too many Tubers shouldn’t be aloud to make videos in the first place. (sorry ) Watching as many as I do you sense pretty quickly if you want to watch the whole vid or not. To show the products this way was perfect for me. Also I find those tools to be quite nice for the money. I love the layout square. A piece you can afford unlike Woodpecker which cost an arm and a leg. Actually an arm, leg and a foot. Inflation you know.😂. Good job young man 👍🏼👍🏼

@ thank you for your reply. I’m getting close to doing a shop tour of my 3 car garage shop. Only a hobby shop however it’s metal and wood. I’m a retired toolmaker and master custom motorcycle builder. I also do plastics and resin pieces. My metal stuff is all quality and expensive as well as extensive. My wood tools however are more bargain based since I don’t do anything more than art work items. I’ve watched loads of videos and have figured out what not to do. Ppl that show every tool in every drawer drive me nuts. There are some people whose videos I actually feel sorry for. A few more projects to finish up and then I’ll film it.

@ thank you! I think the shop and my projects will make for a good video. Still trying to figure out how I want my video cover page to be. So very many ppl put stuff up that really has little to nothing about the video itself. Something to simply grab your attention. This is a new world to me although I had a shop tour of the shop I started nearly 50 years ago. I’ve sold it to my sons now. There is a great channel on here. Modern Machine Shop. This was the go to publication for years and years. I was quite excited when they told me they wanted to do a video of my shop. So many shop tours are of multi million dollar shops. I like to think of our shop as a grass roots kind of shop. I was blown away by how many views it’s gotten in only a few months. See the link below.
