I've actually tried my own one in my campervan now on a few sites and also here at the NEC Caravan and motorhome show in the building and with alot of people and I've been getting solid performance and plenty enough to stream the likes of Netflix etc. If your a heavy user or gamer etc then we also do a Cat 6 system but for 90% of people the Cat 4 system will do what they want it to which will be streaming,emails, browsing etc.

Hi, I bought AVTEX M219DRS-PRO TV - 21.5" FULL HD LED SCREEN and I can't understand why the picture quality is very poor. I used to have a samsung tv -monitor 22 inchi and it showed very well. And when connected via hdmi cable to pc also had very good quality . But when I bought this new AVTEX M219DRS-PRO TV - 21.5" FULL HD LED SCREEN connected by hdmi to the pc very bad picture and generally bad quality even when watching channels. Thank you

I would contact Avtex technical as the one thing Avtex is known for is the picture quality. It puts most household tvs to shame. The tvs come with a 3year warranty so if covered they will have no problem getting it collected and checked over for you.

Thank you for your quick response and advice. I haven't found any information anywhere that anyone else has had this problem. Am I the only one who has had this problem with image quality? @@motorguard

I have had mine for just over the year and it drops signal repeately and now will NOT connect at all. The router was returned to Avtex last November and returned a few days later with no note to even suggest there was a problem. It still will not connect with any SIM card in either slot. Dissappointed.

Are you sure no settings have been changed within the router settings itself. I have one on my own van and fitted so many and never had any issue whatsoever. If you call Avtex support ask them to talk you through a factory reset. If the sim has data and you have signal it should just work.

Thank you for commenting:) Having worked in IT support (hardware) for 15 years, I have reset the router multiple times, tried accessing the web interface using an ethernet cable directly plugged into the router, to no avail. I will try calling Avtex technical support again this week but I have also booked my motorhome for its habitation check next week and they are also booked to look at the Avtex AMR 985 as they installed it June 2022.

Say away…. Go for motorhome WiFi 5g

I’ve tried most WiFi systems and wouldn’t go with a 5g system yet due to 5g rollout in remote areas. I have the Avtex in my own van and it performs extremely well.

@@motorguard it’s the 5g ready system from company called motorhome WiFi… lve had both Maxview and Avtex WiFi system and they are both crap…. This one l have now never let down once
