Thanks. Your work made me purchase the Robot inventor set, now learning Python.

Unfortunately it is discontinued, software support is until end of 2024. But firmware from pybricks still works.

Some super stuff here, Anton (as always). Thanks for sharing this and putting so much effort into explaining the thinking behind it. It’s also a great tutorial for the lower-level python hub control. Like a few of the other posts here, I can get mine to walk, change speed, turn etc., but I can’t get the handstand to work. I’ll keep experimenting - it’s a great learning experience. Thanks again!👍

Eah! Anton - thank you very much! I'm not familiar with python, but I should try to read your code trying to understand how this magic works!

You can do it! Other people have done it and said it was enlightening for them. Also: feel free to ask any question about that code, if Google can't answer it for you.

I have programmed in BASIC and Objective C, Xcode and PHP not in python. I have no idea what key frames are. Google search kept pointing to video editing. Your demo was truly incredible, especially trial and error which happens a lot!

Exactly. That's what inspired me. Motor Key Positions would be a more accurate word than Key Frames.

how do you turn on the spot with gelo?
@michaelwareman64493 жыл бұрын
I have been able to recreate Gelo’s walk function as shown in the video. What I cannot get Gelo to do is the same deep handplant. I first thought it might be that I am using an iPad to program Gelo. I then used my Windows 10 laptop, but again, walking is just like in your video, but the handplant looks more like a lame bucking! I am going to take Gelo apart and rebuild him from the ground up. Any thing that I should look out for that might be interfering with how well Gelo does his handplant?

Is it to do with cycle refresh rate ?
@AntonsMindstorms3 жыл бұрын
No. Refresh is still at 100hz. It is because of the motor maneuvers.
