so i know nothing about cars but i really want to get my boyfriend a katana shift knob for his aw11. Is it possible someone could help me know if it would even work on his car or does there have to be specific types of knobs for that car ??? ahhhh help :((

I'm having a hard time removing the pin on the gas petal too. Any tips on how to remove it without having to remove the whole petal? Thanks!

Not sure if you already got the pin out but I'll write what I did to get mine out in case others are also having issues. I had to take the entire gas pedal assembly out, not too bad two 10 mm bolts just above the pedal, easily accessible, and just move the throttle cable out of the slot and you should be able to remove the assembly out of the car. I then slowly hammered the roll pin out using a 1/8" allen key (roll pin punch and having the assembly in a vicegrip would probably have worked better) and the pedal swap was pretty easy to do with some twisting and malleting. I put in a skinny bolt and nut thru the hole instead of a new roll pin... not about to waste another 20 mins hammering it out lol.

@@RagnaHades Yeah I wasted a bunch of time in the footwell trying to get that damn roll pin out while the pedal was still in the car then just happened to glance up and noticed the two bolts were right there! Hope you enjoy your new pedals!
