80 Kias is the minimum rate of descent speed. 100 is the best range speed. For a good autorotation landing, you should adjust cyclic to obtain a speed (KIAS) between 80 and 100 knots, depending of what you need. I would love the real AW139 behaves like that!! 0 speed autorrotation and still rotor high message.

Hi Carlos! 'Rotor High' starts after an VS of -2500/3000 feet x min and a KIAS above 40/50 kts. Being able to have these values ​​is already a miracle on P3D!

@@Helicopterx1 it's great that you can control nr's in Fs. But I don't think you can reach to 40/50 kias plus rotor high warning starting an autorrotation from hover. At least not that easy. That autorrotation looks totally unreal in my opinion. Below 40 kts the AW139 barely autorrotates. The loss of height would be dramatic, specially if you put the nose down to gain some airspeed. -2500/3000 feet per minute is the variometer for a stabilized autorrotation with Vy. In our case, the variometer would be much more intense.

Hi! The Software Simulator is Prepar3D version 4.4 by Lockheed Martin. The helicopter is an AW139 by ICARO/C.Palacio in version 2.1 under development, now not available for download.
