As per Valmiki Ramayan the Adi Kavya the 1st history written, based on which other interpretations of Ramayan were written, there is no mention of Maya Sita. Mata Sita was dragged by her hair and forced into Pushpak Viman by Ravan

If anyone can clear this confusion I have after this podcast. So if it was Maya Sita who got kidnapped, why is she shown as weeping for Ram ji throughout her whole time in Lanka. I mean, the real Sita Maa was obviously elsewhere and must have been missing her husband. So why was Maya Sita crying for Ramji who was not related to her.

Excellent observation. My interpretation is: 1. Any woman would weep when kidnapped by a Rakshasa 2. Vedavati had done tapasya to obtain God Vishnu as her husband (Wamana Puarana). So she is eagerly waiting for Shree Rama to rescue her and marry her 3. When Agni exchanges her with Seeta, he requests Shree Rama to marry Vedavati (Kurma Purana...) 4. This is satisfied when Vedavati comes as Padmavati and weds Tirupati Balaji (Skanda Purana)

Valmiki ji sat in dhyan and saw the events of Ramayana and composed the epic. Similar is the case of Tulsidas ji. Kaak Bhusandi, the immortal crow says in Yoga Vaasishtha that he saw events repeat in the last 3 cycles of chatur yuga. Which means Ramayana happened at least 4 times.

Ramayan book 7 (uttar kaand) mentions Seeta ji's banishment after they ruled together for 10,000 years. Some Purana mention and some don't. Padma Purana mentions Seeta ji was cursed in her childhood to suffer during pregnancy with separation from her husband.

Ram is part of surya mantra. Hram hrim, hroom hraum. It is bij sound of manipura chakra. Ramayan should be read as tale of bij mantra in action. All characters are sadhakas interacting with divine in different capacities based on calibre. Including Ravan and team who were Siv level tapasvi with siddhis hence cannot be villian as chittashuddhi is prerequisite. They all did 1000s of years tapa which made them sattvik as esplained in Yogasutras. Popular versions are wrong.

People need to stop being absurd, stop fabricating lies just to paint guru, brahman tapasvi, siddhar, rakshak of dharma as villian. War is svadharma of karmyogi rajas to eventually get moksa. Its not crime. Headhunting mentees like Sita, by gurus like Ravan to pass on vidya is not crime. Those days was oral tradition, a serious responsibility to pass on vidya to suitable mentees. Sita was trained in asokvana to b yaksi as trees enhance spirituality. Even Gonika headhunted Patanjali. Dasrath got 4 mentees, not biological sons. Kunti got 5.

I just explained to u that if u believe king Shikhidhwaja got spiritual progress due to tapa etc, y Ravan will b evil after 1000s of years of tapa, getting siddhi after reaching Siva state, mastery of 10 mahavidyas etc! Don't u have any logical sense? These aren't just intellectual accomplishments. U get them only after sattvikta, purity, chittashuddhi as explained in Yogasutras. Originally in Satyug, Tretayug, Dwaparyug these were qualifications. When reading bio of ancients like Ravwn, Kaikeyi, these have to b factored in and understood from reliable sources like Yogasutra, Dhanurved. Poems written by poets like Tulsi, Valmiki, Kamban are not always reliable as they take poetic licence. None can know verbatim private conversations of so many over zillenia. People spread gossip. Gossip is not dharma. It is drama. Scholars says Valmikis are Kushilava bards not rsis. Eg: we can confirm that tapa in vana wa norm to be chakravarti. Then y should it b called exile punishment. In one the queen takes disguise of man met rishi kumbha etc. In another version queen appears to king as kumbha but did not disguise as man. So my point is that when we read ramayan mahabharat we should focus on facts like results of tapa, rather than other details. So if every tale assures benefits of tapa like chittashuddhi, getting siddhis after disolving ego, there is no need to spread lies that Ravan was evil.
