That's a very good question. I am not aware of a resource, but I'll add that to my 'vid ideas' spreadsheet. For Badon, I think CDR is going to be #1, followed by ability damage and HP or lifesteal.

Yes, you have to use the weapon you want to upgrade. It's added to that weapon specifically.

This video was made on the test server, so you could grab infinite attunement from the pillars at the time. It is not possible now. You have to grind attunement open world or in Abbeys, as has always been the case on the main server.

It increases all stats corresponding to IP for that weapon. So usually damage and HP.

Im a bit confused you can farm attunement points on yellow zone t4 to t5 weapons but for t6 or higher can only be obtained in black zones what about red zones do i get attunement?

Yes, you can get attunement in red or black zones. Any "full loot pvp" zones.

That's a very good question. If it is 6.4+ and you haven't progressed too far I think it is worth restarting (disenchanting). Otherwise, it might be worth re-rolling. Really a tough call regardless.

You will see people do this 100%... but it won't be often for sure.. I recon you'll see some 5.4 - 6.4 and then a few going big boy 7.4 and 8.4... but they will probably farm them up in safer methods

How did you pay for attunement? It's not showing up in thetford or do I need to go in different city? Or do I need a weapon with attunement points before I can buy them? It's my first time doing it, I'm using tier 6 weapon and I dont want to risk it since I'm f2p and its my faction war weapon.

I made the video on the test server before the launch. IN that case I was able to 'cheat' and get free attunement from the totem, but on the live server you have to farm attunement open world or in dungeons. With that 6.4 weapon, you can only get attunement in full loot PvP zones, so....you have to risk it =/

Anc there's this one guy who claims to have over 1T, and he's got it all from early gold investments, and that he's never spent a single dollar for AO! Bloody cheaters! Yes, but the cost is commensurate with the reward. it has to be that way. Otherwise it would be too broken and devalue higher tier weapons. People could just use 4.4, make it cracked, forget higher tiers.

I disagree. Those using these weapons take exorbitant risk in doing so, and they are liable to die to rats. It adds an element of extreme excitement, a gold sink, and using an awakened weapon does not make one automatically good at the game...I've separated a few weapons from undeserving hands myself :P

it has to be crafted as 8.4, cant upgrade. But yes, it is worth attuning 8.4 if you know what you're doing with the set.

@@WayneTwitch yes, I recommend awakening a lower tier. The cost of leveling up the traits is also insane at 8.4. 6.4 is a good compromise - worth the effort to get the traits while not being too pricey.

You have to buy a weapon that is already crafted as .4. You can't upgrade.
