I have been doing this every morning. The first thing i do is geab my phone. Then about 5-10 minutes later i look up a website i know i shouldn't, and i sin. Then i sometimes fall asleep and then when i wake again i sin again. After that i get up and i get on my computer where i spend hours gaming or talking with friends. I feel depressed, hopeless, lost, always tired and broken. I haven't read the bible in a while, and I don't pray. It's been a consistent pattern for like months.

I understand you, I went through something similar, for six months I had an alarm that said "read the Bible" and after six months I had not taken it even once, and the truth is it was difficult for me and it was a very difficult time because of my foolishness in not listening to the Lord, but He is merciful, and in the midst of my chaos, He brought order. Maybe you don't understand what I say now, but in the name of Jesus begin to ask the Father to help you leave those habits (John 14:6), and He always hears prayers (Matthew 7:7, 1 John 5 14-16), start reading Matthew, Mark or John, and get to know or recap what Jesus is like, remember that everything that keeps you away are distractions from what God wants to prepare and give you, all because of His love and mercy (John 10:10). (2 Timothy 1:7)

Restoration is possible you only truly lose the fight when u give up, it will take discipline and sincerely crying out to God to save you, the hardest part is starting the process, you have to make up your mind that you don't want to be like this anymore, you see where it has lead you and you know it's not worth it, Get back up and fight my friend you might not feel like it but you have to push until the things of God once again become your desire, if you start feeding the spirit the powere of the flesh grows weaker while your spirit grows. I have been through a similar state so I know if God did it for me he will definitely do it for you. Praying you'll allow him to restore you and do not listen to your heart even if it condemns you, God said he is greater than your heart.

I feel you my bro, I've found myself in that situation too where I wanna seek God but at the same time I don't wanna take steps to do so. Paul describes this walk with Christ like a race (Hebrews 12:1-2). Even in the midst of trails and tribulations, Paul had to constantly put in that conscious effort when it came to walking in the will of God, that being by keeping His vision on Jesus ! Like anything in life, we have to do our part even when we don't necessarily want to. Athletes don't get to a professional level just naturally, it takes time and dedication even when they don't necessarily want to. It's a relationship that we have with Jesus and just like any relationship, if we're not doing our part then it becomes one sided. The beautiful part about this relationship is that His Holy Spirit is there every single step of the way to guide and direct you. We just have to do our part and give ourselves in totality to Him ! It's hard bro but I have faith in Christ that you'll be able to get that fire going ! God bless you my man🙏🏼

Just talk to Him. Same way you'd talk to a family or friend, pray and talk to Him, explain your situation to Him, ask Him for help and then just let Him help you, submit to Him. And the best way you can do that is by reading His word and following it.
