Perhaps would be better to change te section of the exhaust pipe muffler, to an oval section to increase the surface of cooling... It gets too much temperature... But, despiste this observación,congrats for all the team.

There are 3 things to fix....there is a Major, major exhaust restriction thats why its glowing red. The muffler diameter and and the tips need to be larger. The positive battery terminal needs a big fuse for protection and place a rubber grommet piece so the radiator doesnt rub against metal to aluminum. Great job getting car to start.

It doesn't seem like it's from exhaust restriction but possibly poor ignition timing. It would also explain the lazy revs. Restricted exhaust doesn't usually lead to glowing exhausts. I had a car with an exhaust crushed to the point it sounded like it was hitting a rev limiter at 5000rpm but it wasn't lazy like this. Exhaust was crushed down to the point my finger would hardly fit from how flat it was. Ignition timing though, that'll put heat in your header.

@AMLagonda thats far fetch to claim Cleetus and his team would be proud. I think these guys have been doing a Great job. In fact, in their other channel "nung nhet tv" they corrected the restriction. The cat was severely glowing and they seen this and made slight modifications to the cylinder.

What a build, the only thing I wish was the case was a V6/V8/V12 Engine instead of the I4. BUT, I understand finding any of those engines can be rather difficult and expensive. Toyota Century V12 if you can find one. Either way... awesome job!

Change spark plugs, engine oil and coolant for more power! also add a downpipe this helps the engine with releasing the gasses much faster!

You can tune the exhaust tubes by getting a dark grease stick and drawing a line all along the length of the tube. Run the engine at it's peak power rpm (for example it might be 4200 rpm). Watch the grease line carefully and you'll notice certain parts of the grease line burn off first. Turn off the engine immediately as soon as you see parts of the grease line burning away. Now cut the end of the tubes at one of the points where the grease burned away. You've now tuned the exhaust lengths to the peak power band of the engine.

@@aimlessdrive8723 I've only seen it done for the entire length but idk maybe tuning each section could work, but then again once you assemble the entire exhaust it could change it's overall frequency. Safe bet is to tune the entire length fully assembled.

The project is going so good so far! Just for safety, it’s better if you replaced the engine oil filter, engine oil, spark plugs and add coolant fluid to the radiator. This will give the engine more power and durability 💪💪💪. Plus make sure to check the fan belt and the fuel injection as well 😅

Man that electrical system wire job was fantastic. Taking a wire harness made for a front engine to a rear engine takes skill an like you said 3 long days.. good job guys . But yeah you gotta fix that exhaust I know you spent a lot of time on it but it has to be opened up bigger or your gonna have issues . As always great work guys it looks awesome.

Respect for your awesome work, small things to be replaced to new and exhaust need to be treated with oil to strengthen the metal then it needs to be isolated very well before fixing the body or it may cause lots of trouble in future. I think you need to rework the bugatti as you guys gained lots f experience making sport cars

What makes that fire flame in the exhaust like the fast and furious cars is a device with an emitter and coil like a kitchen stove, and they sell this kit and install it in the exhaust, it looks like an airplane turbine

The reason it got hot like that I think because of the foam inside the muffler .... air flow was restricted, I would take that foam out for free air flow to prevent rising temperature .... just my opinion

Check the two timing gears it sounds like they are not aligned with each other .line up both gear notches perfectly for best performance. This is always overlooked and really on a high mile engine should be the first thing to check.

Exhaust sound is not quit good. The exhaust sound is rought in this system. You design a sharp and loud sound for this car because it matches the car..
