I saw Eric McCormack in person in Toluca Lake. I made a complete fool of myself gushing over his incredible talent and telling him how much I love him. He could NOT have been more charming and graceful. He even asked me my name and said goodbye to me when he left the restaurant. What a great man and a great talent. I ALSO saw Debra Messing in Los Angeles after seeing Eric and could not believe it. SHE could not have been more charming and lovely too. God bless them!

@blerksnarfgut27664 жыл бұрын
@F L yeah, it really was. I took it for granted that TV would always have great shows because that's what I saw on TV as a kid in the '90s and early '00s. There are good shows today but none that rise up to the level of fun and appeal of those older ones.
@Michael-xi9nb4 жыл бұрын
Blerk Snarfgut The sitcoms were better then but drama series is crazy good nowadays though I guess none of those shows would exist if it weren’t for The Sopranos.

I can’t imagine what Derbra Messing was thinking or feeling when she’s the only one left without an emmy. Her turn was 2 years later.
@JanetsPlanetAMC4 ай бұрын
Indeed! These were the days when episode-submissions really mattered, and Debra Messing knocked it outta the park (in season 4’s ‘The Kids Stay Out of the Picture’). It seemed like everyone was getting a turn to win (ie Sarah Jessica Parker winning the next year for the series finale ep of SATC), until you realize Jane Kaczmarek never won… which should have happened this same year Eric won, instead of a second win for Patricia Heaton (who rightfully won the previous year with perhaps the best ep ever of Raymond). Jane still holds the record for most losses in Lead Comedy Actress (0-7, which is kind of a win of a different kind I guess).

All the stars on WILL & GRACE -- McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes, Megan Mullally -- won an Emmy. It is only one of four shows in which all the principal cast won Emmys. The other three are ALL IN THE FAMILY, GOLDEN GIRLS, and EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND.
@marvinmelhorn584310 жыл бұрын
Marvin Melhorn uh, scratch that! Not all the principal characters on RAYMOND won. Peter Boyle was nominated 7 times for Supporting Actor, but he lost thrice to his co-star Brad Garrett, twice to David Hyde Pierce (FRASIER), and once each to Peter McNichol (ALLY MCBEAL) and Sean Hayes (WILL & GRACE).
