I went to buy milk in grocery shop in here in my home town where they sale fresh milk every morning. If you don’t get it by 10am it will be gone because it is unpacked and real fresh straight from the cows. I asked a shopkeeper, “is the milk pure or have you dilute it with some water? The shopkeeper said, ‘it is not diluted with water it is the pure milk. You see, if you mix water in milk, it is still call milk, and if milk is in its pure form, it is still call milk. The difference is one has more water content. Right now your consciousness is diluted with idea of body mind or an entity; but it still call the consciousness, even tomorrow if you realized your true self that you are the pure consciousness or awareness or spirit whatever you want to name, it is still call consciousness. The gold jewelry is not separate from the gold because the jewelry is the gold too so the consciousness and awareness or pure consciousness whatever you want to name it, it is all ONE foundation of everything, because there can’t be two foundations of one house. ❤️🙏🏻

Let me share how I feel the Presence. Waking early morning, not in fear, relaxed fully, imagine a conviction that only ten minutes left for death...Then as time tic tic, all words of self, pure self, consciousness, atma, paramatma, relations, possessiveness....all conceptual ideas if mind leaves me....only a pure presence is left.....Practise it and see...

The Self (Awareness) is always just aware, no matter if there is personhood (Ego) or presence (I Am, Now) experienced (inside it).

The whole upanishad put in one sentence. I would add one more thing. But the awareness is only experienced when there is a separate entity, be it consciousness, or personhood

Indeed, our exchange resonates with the profound inquiry suggested by Nisargadatta Maharaj. In my contemplative journey into the essence of 'I am', I begin with the vibrant sense of presence, within which awareness discerns thoughts, emotions, the body, and the senses. Yet, just beyond this discriminating awareness lies a more expansive, spacious presence. Delving deeper into this realm, I encounter a zone of sheer absence - devoid of any sense of presence or its counterpart, absence. It is a domain where the concept of 'something' and 'nothing' ceases to have meaning. Thus, it seems at our most fundamental level, we are immersed in 'nothingness', which perhaps is the ultimate truth of our existence. 😊

God gave man a mind to test him. What has man done with this mind? Man creates a character (in most cases, multiple characters) in his mind and lives out his life as this character/characters. And… since this character is of "its own creation" and alone, it is very subject to fear. That is why religion is so powerful. It provides a shelter for this character to hang out in.

The movement from the Grossest to the Subtlest is said to be like this: "Subtler than the senses are the OBJECTS; subtler than the sense objects is the MIND; subtler than mind is the INTELLECT; subtler than intellect is the MAHAAN ATMA (i.e., the sum-total of the seed universe in its subtle form - also called MAHAT); subtler than Mahat is the UNMANIFESTED; subtler than the Unmanifested is PURUSHA, which is the subtlest of all, with nothing subtler than it. - Kathopanishad: 1.iii.10&11. The more the subtlety, the greater its pervasiveness!

Hearing this makes me think that some teachers who say that what they're experiencing is self realisation, actually isn't REAL self realisation. For instance, Eckhart Tolle (and in a similar way Rupert Spira) talk a lot about being presence or awareness. But what I understand from what Mooji says here, and from what I can feel/know, realising yourself as presence or awareness, although far better than thinking you're the most contracted form (mind and body), it's still not self realisation. The REAL self, is still not realised, it is this REAL self that is the witness of this presence. Its like the presence is just a reflection of this REAL self. (excuse my use of upper case)

All that analysing and questioning and answering by mostly rich bellies in the western society. In poor countries would regard a lot poeple this as luxary as beging too busy with survivling life. Oh... Is this the contiousness talking or personal identity!?
