"Sixteen long years had passed, yet swift as a breeze. The mundane early morning hours waiting at O'Hare International's Terminal 2 felt endless by contrast. Ever more so the mere minutes it took our flight to reach its final circling pattern. No words were spoken on board as we descended from 30.000 feet and the clouds opened, only to reveal the pale remains of Arklay County. My breathing grew heavy, erratic, as the accompanying photojournalists pressed against the windows and flashed their cameras in an equally desperate, erratic frenzy. With every flash, a painful memory: routine cafeteria talk with my fellows at the precint, drinking nights at Jay's, pranking the rookies... They were all gone, along with my life down there. Street and foundation outlines traced my years in Raccoon, my commitment to protect its people beyond the line of duty. Hopes and promises turned into radioactive dust. A young reporter held my trembling arm, and I readied for one last interview, one last effort to find closure."

@SurvivalSpheres10 ай бұрын
@@agentstone4249 I see nothing rude here :-) Principle of this channel is this: I usually make music reminiscent of save room songs, in terms of atmosphere. Because this is KZbin, I need visuals to upload. So most often I pick scenes from the games which I consider fitting in the wider sense. In this case, creatures were on board of the plane as well. But once they were gone, the plane became silent and peaceful. Or, a different take, one could imagine flying in the safe plane while chaos breaks lose down below. The plane has, so to speak, become the save room for the moment.
