I have purchased several items from Away prior to as well as during the sale. My experience wasn’t bad during the sale because I waited until closer to the end of the sale to order anything since I already owned most of what I wanted. My only issue is that my items took longer to arrive. I will say that my experience with Away has been overwhelming positive and I think that with such a deep discount these things will unfortunately happen. I think it would have happened and has happened in other cases with other companies. That’s not to say that it makes it OK but more understandable at the very least. These are unprecedented times and this sale was definitely an unexpected but welcome surprise. I’m just happy to have been able to snatch up a few things.

What a nightmare! Every time I would place items in my cart the cart would get deleted by the time I was ready for checkout. Finally got through and then had my order cancelled. No explanations. Three weeks later they finally responded to my email and didn’t offer “we are sorry” sort of thing. I asked why my order was cancelled and was told colors were sold out. Yet! There they were still being shown as available on their website.

@@Simone.Alexxis no. I emailed them back about the original order and to this day haven’t gotten a response. I probably won’t ever order from them again. I saw an IG post that she received 13 suitcases all different colors other than the 2 she ordered.

I love AWAY!!... I got the medium suitcase in white, the mini white that I put toiletries in, and the mini aluminum that I use for my electronics. Everyone was like “omg! Why did you get white?” But I keep it looking perfect because I use a clear luggage cover😉 Wish I could’ve caught that sale though🥺 You scored big time👍

And that's when the drama happened... lol love it! That day was a nightmare. They confirmed my order and the day after, they said they didn't have an order with that confirmation number. But I had the paypal email saying the payment was sent. I ended placing another order. Luckily the items that I wanted were available.

The site isn’t for high traffic and obviously they’ll only have 1 per person! That stuff even happens with Nike and other big companies....

I already have the pink leather everywhere bag, with the pink carry on and I love them both. During the sale I purchased a green large expandable as well as the black nylon everywhere bag and I received them both no problem. The Serena items are back on the site, but they were not included in the sale.

I didn’t have a problem ordering my pieces at all and I ordered 2 suitcases and organizers.... but I must say they broke up my order up one bag came with the organizers and the second luggage just came today.. but I def was nervous because it took 2 weeks for the second bag to arrive...hands down I love away luggage I won’t use anything else!

So I just brought some away luggage today myself. Mostly because I need a way to protect my cosplay and props. In 2019 I had a prop break on me while in transit to LA for AX 2019. I'm coming from Swiss Gear cloth bags. Here to protection and life long warranty.

The sale was due to the pandemic. I couldn’t stop laughing because they REALLY wanted to make money. Prior to the sale, they removed some things.
