What an excellent show, just finished it, and I really really hope their will be a season 2. It’s definitely not a sci-fi show, but centered around the struggles that astronauts go through leaving their families and lives behind for years to travel to an unknown world. This show did a fantastic job of capturing that and really making you feel like you are right there with them. I am itching for more!! Great job on this one Netflix

It's just a matter of if the doubt they introduce will satisfy your interest enough to justify them spending screen time on it depending on how much and/or what part of the story you are or could be invested in...

and just to add on to my post while its still on my mind... take my for example I'm into computer so naturally some mechanical/technical issue would probably be the go to scenario in most cases and me being techy that doubt in the story prob wouldn't bother me as much specially if it is was something different... where's take for my example my wife is in the medical field and enjoys a good love story and we have kids. So a doubt more on the medical side of things like something getting seriously sick or injured and they are they only ones who were trained for it might be something my wife would be more interested in then I would, specially if they focused more on the "story" part of it and not the medical fun stuff lol but you get what I mean... or maybe it could be a combination of the two and reel you both in, medical but with a high tech focus. So just saying, as much as we hate or seriously dislike certain things sometimes... we equally love and want those exact same certain things at other times and don't think twice about how we felt about how heated we got or felt thinking they would are was for sure going to go do something a certain way.

Yes, everyone who is bitching about this having too much drama... can you imagine how hard something like this is? It's been 7 mos, I'm still living on earth, can leave my apartment, but my social contact is very limited thanks to the pandemic. AND I FEEL LIKE I'M LOSING MY MIND. Now switch that to 7 mos, you can't leave your apartment, there is no option to go to your family if there's trouble, you are literally trapped and millions of miles from anyone you love, and there is a very very real chance at a gruesome death if ANYTHING goes wrong at any point. Most people would lose it. There is a very real personal drama aspect to any mission like this, it does psychologically impact people. I appreciate the authenticity of this show and it makes me feel like I went on the journey with them.

If you're on the fence about watching this.. YES YES 1000% YES you most definitely should!! I've had this in my netflix list for a good 2 years & finally gave in and I absolutely loved it. The character development in such a short span is insane. I became so attached to practically all of the characters and loved em all even more so at the end. Like another comment states, you really feel like you were on their journey with them. This show is definitely the type to draw you in with emotion and drama. I cried multiple times, smiled, laughed, goosebumps, the whole works! The acting is so good all around, you truly get so emotionally invested, at least I did. Being fascinated in space it was really nice to see some of the reality astronauts experience. The good and the bad. The amazing moments and the heartbreaking. The terror and the excitement. All of it just really put some things in retrospect for me personally. I just finished it and I am PISSED theres not another season so be prepared for that. Overall, very happy I gave it a shot. It was a wonderful rollercoaster of a watch that will stick with me for a while. 10/10 👏

This is one of my favorite shows on Netflix now. The special effects are awesome, but don't overshadow the story. The effects are used to tell the story rather than being in place of one. Every character is so well developed and is truly a part of the team. There's no point in this show where any character is "unnecessary". It really makes this seem like a team effort. Even tho Hilary Swank is the lead in this show, everybody else is just as important. The mix of special effects, character development/vulnerability, and unique story telling methods and perspectives really make this show great.

I just finished this recently, they could have easily had a 2nd season. Many unanswered questions. 1. Results of the Chinese astronaut not bowing to her government's demands and will she see the lady she loves again? 2. Why the Indian astronaut parents (not enough detail on his family drama shown) only want news of his death? 3. What condition are the supplies in at the dropship? 4. Will they survive and make it back to Earth?

Not at all there s no feminism BS at all in the whole serie. They are just normal people with equal traits. The audience is mostly older people i think, who don t know a lot about science and are more interested in family drama more than the travel itself

I’ve watched the first few eps so far. Good show. I especially like how the use of constant communication with loved ones back home increase anxiety. Works the same in my military deployment experience. I’d rather have limited communication, personally.
