Sunderland didn’t sell out because 1. Like you said, we have been to Wembley twice this season 2. Many people can’t afford to get to Wembley (the petrol, the hotel). Many of charlton fans didn’t have to stay in a hotel. I spoke to some charlton fans and they said they travelled 20 minutes to get there, we were in the car for 5 hours.

Nothing else to say. I'm a Sunderland fan and I'm absolutely gutted, in fact I'm actually heart broken but well done Charlton 👏👏 you played a cracking game and one thing I can be sure of is that all 22 players played their hearts out and both Lee Bowyer and Jack Ross should be absolutely delighted with the way their teams played today. One slight slip up from Charlton could have broken their hearts but they kept on fighting and kicking at that door. For all Sunderland played some brilliant football and mcglaughlin pretty much kept the black cats in it, it was inevitable that Charltons attacking force would prove to be to much with a cracking winner on the 94th minute with the last kick of the ball. Unlucky Sunderland and R.I.P but well done Charlton Athletic by far the best of the 2. SAFC=DISGRACE.

I went to both games but it’s really expensive with travel/accommodation/food and drink and then the ticket as well and the checkatrade game was the first trip in 5 years so everyone made sure they got to that one. People from the north east don’t have a lot of money so to fork out hundreds twice in the space of 7 weeks is not doable for everyone. Great video though
