Great build. Nicely thought out and excellent fab skills. For the chain tensioner, you may want to look at UHMW guides for the chain to run on. It's very high wearing, a little lighter and less room is needed.

@Dave Underwood, thanks alot for good words! I will definitely look into that, thanks for the advice!🙂

Even rubber wheels would be better. Steel tensioners are very noisy and tranmit alot of vibration to the frame for some reason.

is there an overrun clutch for the front wheel? without one turning can be very tricky
@OkayBuilds3 жыл бұрын
@J K, no, there is no overrun clutch, but surprisingly it turns pretty good even on hard pavement, but I will be adding a front drive disconnect..
@2000freefuel3 жыл бұрын
@@OkayBuilds yeah all you need is to let the front wheel overrun the rear during turning to prevent drive line binding.

Is there any chance you could post a supplies used list for your build, I would love to build one as well.
@OkayBuilds3 жыл бұрын
Yes, I can give you list, no problem! 1. Square tubing I used: 3/4x3/4, 2"x1" 2. Sprockets: Wheel sprockets are 60t from Amazon, all the other sprockets are 13t, except the one that comes right after the cvt that one is 20t. 3. Tires are 20x7x8, rims stock Coleman ct200u. 4. Pillow block Bearings 3/4, flange bearings 3/4 (Amazon) 5. U joint - steering shaft from 2011 Kia Sportage. I think I covered the main parts I used. Most of the stuff I had laying around, but you can find all of this stuff with no problem( Amazon, go power sports, bmi go carts, etc), let me if you have any questions!
@bwxmoto3 жыл бұрын
Amazing build! I was wondering, do you basically have front brakes because the two wheels are locked in sync with the chains? Also sounds like you could use some EBC 304G brake shoes!
@OkayBuilds3 жыл бұрын
@ BWX thanks! You are right, applying brakes to one wheel stops the other one through the chain. Thanks for the advice about the brake shoes, you probably heard my brakes making noise

@buildurtruckurway, Thanks bud! That was a speed up video🙂, real speed was approximately 35 mph
@martylawson16383 жыл бұрын
Looks like it wouldn't hurt to lengthen the chain guard to cover the whole chain. Would make it a lot safer to stand up and lean forward to keep the front tire down. (btw, don't think that chain needs a tensioner, it was plenty tight as installed)
@OkayBuilds3 жыл бұрын
@Marty Lawson, thanks for the advice! You are right about that chain tensioner, you don't really need it, but my thought was that it will tension the chain as the chain wears and stretches, and also prevent chain from bouncing
