The knife enthusiast. 4cyl vtec engines have an amazing engine niose. The engine/intake sound of an s2000 motor, or any other red valve cover type r engines from the 90s-early00s is truly incredible. I think you have yet to discover that sound. The same thing happened to my buddy. He fell in love with hondas, but every Honda he's ever been around had really loud exhausts, so he was unaware of what vtec engines sound like with a fat intake and a quiet exaust until he rode in my S2k. A mugen twinloop exhaust that's not too loud, a ported head, and itb's is how to make a Honda sound like heaven

Which was a 7.70 on avg nitrous car. That covered the first 60ft in 1.12sec. While I did have one of the 400+ci sbf nitrous engine that made 840hp+ back then on just motor without nitrous. I did have a 331 sbf with a 100mm turbo when I had it and drove it on the street. The car went 7.20 @189mph and that was over 16 years ago. Also like I said before. I have nothing but respect for this car. I've built and tuned imports for people in the past also. I have nothing but respect for all makes and models. It's not the manufacturer that matters. It's the people behind the build. So I have no problem with Honda's or any other manufacturer. It's the morons that talk shit and are clueless, I have the problem with.

What about the fact that an old mustang sounds like a generator. Because we all know they do. My personal opinion, I think the sound of an s2000 or integra type r for example with a fat intake and manifold has an incredible engine sound. Many are unaware of that sound, and as far as a very loud Honda that is properly built I think it sounds like a motorcycle. I'm very confused at the lawnmower comments. I just don't get it. Yes a d series civic dx with an eBay exhaust sounds like a lawnmower but that ain't no real Honda motor. A red top b18c type r is, and guess what, it sounds like a motorcycle. An f20c is the sound of honda. The b18c, the k20a etc. People are dumb

Started building Honda's in 1998, fabbed forced induction systems and tuned ems solely for Honda's until 2009, then left and went toward Corvettes, where I've been for 10+. This vid validates the truth....I often tell people, Corvettes are just Honda's with RWD...they're very modular, the LS platform is as well. My foundation in Honda transferred to the C5/C6 platform very smoothly...both are mega capable. I lean toward road racing though, so I feel pretty confident that Corvette is the better choice but...B/H/D Honda will always be a part of my life.

Yeah the FWD was a total handicapped, these bigger displacement 4 cyl hondas with AwD aren't anything to scoff at. 1600-1800 lbs, 1000hp and AWD... You're going to be seeing nothing but tailights unless your running some big block american purpose built drag car. Shepherd went mid 7s like 15 years ago. So going this fast with a AWD 4cly with a H pattern trans isn't nothing new. Not new with Honda either. It's been 3 years since the first person did it. There's just not many that do it like you said. That we can agree on. No question it's a nice build and a fast car regardless like I've said before. I'm not a big small impact import guy but they have always had my respect going back 20 years when I put my first cage in one. I also had the pleasure of working on Vinny Tens 7sec supra many years ago. So while I love my American muscle. I still have a place in my heart for any car that runs regardless what it is. They all deserve respect.

He got lucky that the Minon mustang or the Grub Worm Camaro with the old stock block LT1 and the Grannas supra the Red Demon eclipse, I almost forgot about ol Leroy and Cleetus that car definitely has the potential and power to go 7's I cant wait to see what it does when they finally figure the car 100% out and makes consistent pass's like the cars I mentioned. But like I said no hate anything that makes big power and runs 5's in the 1/8 ( All I only run 1/8 mile there's only 1/4 mile track in my area that's about 2 hours from my house down hear in Alabama we just run 1/8 and most still would if we had the option) is a pretty bad hot rod and I can respect it. In the 29 years I've been on this planet I have made 5 or 6 1/4 miles pass's I made a few in my little small tire turbo 99 z28 Camaro with a very weird but cheap combo il just say it has a filled 2004 ls6/LS1 block and it's a alcoholic and it ran out of gear like 60 feet before the stripe so I bumped the rev limiter up a little and crossed the strip at 7725 rpm the highest I've ever revved it so I only made 2 full pass's and the best was 8.69 @ 151 most of my e.t came from the short track time, I've ran my wifes g8 gxp more it's got a 15" wheel conversion out back so it actually has a tire on it, it's a basic setup stock bottom end ls3 PRC CNC'ed the factory 821 heads BTRs baddest blower cam and a LSA that has had the shit ported out of it and N.W Tb and PTC converter and e85 it went a best of 9.88 @ 142mph and ran a few 9.90s that's purrty quick for momma's heavy ass hot rod, 1/4 mile just doesn't feel right to me after the 1/8 in my car I can almost hear my motor and trans goin shit shit shit shit and ouch ouch ouch ouch! LoL different strokes for different folks !!!

@@toki89666 I appreciate it man I try my best to stay humble and appreciate the small things and very thankful for every day I wake to my old lady and 4yo son & 11yo daughter and get to play with my hot rods and I hit the Jack pot with my wife it took one trip to the track when we where 17 and she got hooked lol and lucky I still got my job after all this corona bullshit that I was very lucky to get in the first place, your supposed to have a degree I cant remember the whole name but its electrical something and maintenance degree and all I got is a GED LOL I started out as a preventative maintenance tech now I'm basically a maintenance supervisor at SCI Sanimina on the government side it's hard to explain lol but it pays the bills and buys Vp methanol and ignite e90 and Hoosier's when it gets that time lol . I like to think I'm as Murican as it gets democrat is a bad word in my house and Trump2020 stickers on all the cars except the wifes G8 because I it's to pretty to have stickers on but she dont not to long ago she went to the local shop that does wraps and signs and got a pink cheetah print sticker made of her initials in this weird font and style that's popular right now where we live IDK it drives me crazy every time I look at it and her goofy pink mossy oak seat covers (what's funny is my wife is black and more country than most girls I love it!! ) but yea my Camaro has a pretty funky combo in my opinion il tell you of you would like to know that's my first non stock bottom end setup lol

No it's still very TRUE there is no replacement for displacement but in the honda world THE H22 is one of the biggest motors but now THE K24 is the ultimate engine but the major factors PEOPLE forget is power to weight and traction is key a high power feather with 4 feet made of super glue will always win against a brick with thousands of HP that spins CAUSE spinning ain't winning the technology is INSANE now AND HONDAS are really hard to beat when there built right AND AWD it's a killer every TIME
