The Alm brothers quattro drift cars had welded centre and rear differentials and 800+ bhp to do those drifts.

great video! hopefully someday the drifting community will be less toxic, everyone associates drifting with RWD when AWD and even some FWD's can drift. i still think it's a skill issue, everyone attack's FWD and AWD mostly bc they'll do a little power slide and think their drifting, btw if your a rwd kid screaming power slide i recommend going back to school and learning the term's "powerslide" and "drift" by ur own logic "AlL WhEeL DrIvE iS PowEr SlIdE" you're rwd is powersliding too. at the end of the day drifting is a craft for fun, a spirited form of driving, i don't see a reason to hate someone by their drivetrain, if their sideway's before during and after the apex of a turn (which is the definition of drifting according to FD kids) holding angle and having a good time, no reason to shame them for enjoying their craft and mastery of the sport, KeepDriftingFun! 💜💜

Nah. Defeats the purpose. Like swimming with floaties and flippers.

@m.b.82 the purpose? What do you thinking drifting is? lol

@Fire_Saints a competitive sport.
@Fire_Saints22 күн бұрын
@@m.b.82 assumed so, it should be viewed as a art form, a fun way of driving with competitive aspect's, but if u only drift for competition i dont see anything wrong, little self centered to call everything u dont do unskilled but that's today's community, toxic and incapable of accepting other form's of drifting, have a good day. :)
@m.b.8222 күн бұрын
@Fire_Saints I'm not hating, I'm just saying it's a lesser "art"* form. It would have to be a completely different category too. *it's not art, it's sport and entertainment.

What is a power slide?
@Fire_Saints22 күн бұрын
@@DriftNick powerslide's are wen the car kick's out in the middle of the corner (the apex) it's caused by to early acceleration, but also can be used to rotate the vehicle a little more to increase exit speed :)

AWD could only be power sliding. There is a huge difference between power sliding and drifting. Go to school
@traversw12329 күн бұрын
“Can only” If you take most of the scene’s explanation of drift as starting before the apex vs power slide is initiated after the apex then please school us to which of these awd cars were only power sliding?

Can you explain what a power slide is and how they is different to drifting?
