For me its one of the best videos ever. Generally every Hillclimb racer is special but the diversity of the norwegians is mind breaking... a Corolla with 1fz? C4 with 5 Cylinder? M5 Turbo V8, 190 Turbo V8... Seems like they dont think about of is it possible or not... amazing.

there is also drift cars going uphill there, an example is one of the local legends there named Ole Johhny Brinchmann Pettersen, with a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro which is one of the best showcars i have experienced, if you search his name up and camaro you should find videos from earlier and this years Norges Raeste Bakkelop/Norways Roughest Hillclimb. Been going to this event every year it has been since 2017, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger each year, so would definetly recommend going there, its also not just uphill, but they do streetshows, drag race, car meets with local cars and etc. and this year they held EU championship in watercross there aswell.

1:39 And this is why I love hillclimbs and all other disciplines that still allow custom cars: these events reflect the regional car culture so much. Only in Northern Europe would you find something like this, just like only the U.S. would go to the effort to build something like the Old Smokey diesel pickup. You can learn so much about the regional car culture by just seeing what the local racers build. Cars like these are a joy to behold because of their uniqueness. A sport still ruled by car enthusiasts is a beautiful thing. Long may that continue. EDIT: Oh my god, the drag racing bonus stage. This event fucks, dude.

the guys from Zyrus are crazy they made a 1200 hp Huracan many years ago sadly they never released a Nordschleife lap time. They did testing but the car broke if i remember and they never made any news about it again.

7:51 I don't know if there's a single straight panel on that E36. Looks like an absolute hoopty that was saved from a scrapyard at the last minute, but you can't argue with the results, she rips. The way it corners with a front paw fluttering in the breeze in full salute reminds me of 70's touring cars. Being so soft in the rear I bet it's one of the more comfortable rides up that hill.

Ok, you are the first person on the comments really pointing it, but with the Citroen what happened was quite a big editing mistake on our end 😐 When we were normalizing the Audio on final edit between all clips, we wrote +20 instead of +2 somehow and by the time we noticed it was too late.. hopefully it doesn´t spoil the the whole video too much..

"Råeste" can be translated to roughest, but in this context it probably means "most awesome." Norwegian is strange when translating.
