Do you have to get the car tuned installing the downpipe and exhaust? Did the engine warning light come on?

Yes, you must get a tune after installing a downpipe. It will also get rid of the check engine light and maximize gains.

Defiantly sounds more refined then mine with the awe midpipe. Going to put back oem midpipe for sure now. Thanks for the clips, I couldn’t find any with this specific system. You helped me make my decision 👍🏼

@@bmwdriven it’s amazing when driving at higher speeds but cold starts are just stupid loud haha. I defiantly do notice that with your videos you can actually hear the deepness and tone of the awe where with mine it sounds a just a little more all over the place and raspier.

Where did you get your diffuser? Got mine from RWCarbon and it doesn’t fit nearly that well. Also, great video. Can’t wait to get an AWE exhaust!

I actually got mine from RW Carbon as well. I took my bumper off to install. It didn't fit well at all when trying to mount in with the bumper on the car. Appreciate you tuning in, Mason!

Do you still have the ability to control the valves from switching between sport and comfort? I have bootmod3 tune and I changed it where in sport the valve is constantly open and in comfort it does its own thing depending how much i gas it. Long story short i don't wanna delete my valve actuator when i get an exhaust system so i dotn lose the control on opening and closing it

I do not have a valvetronic exhaust. I do have the option to set the aggression of the burbles in sport and comfort mode though. When I see a cop I switch to comfort mode ; )

@@bmwdriven okay so I juSt got a 435i with no mods done yet. I see remus axelback is like 1200$ , thats all you got rn? Im also daily driver. Ppl usually get catless dp but i read you’d need a tune for check light.

@@raz0rstr I have the AWE axelback exhaust with a VRSF downpipes and stock mid pipes and tuned by BM3 which gets rid of the check engine light. I highly suggest this setup!
