Toothless Gaming There are a lot of streamers and youtubers that make more money in a month than normal people do in a year. Especially youtube is full of people that earn millions every year. Streaming is only starting to get bigger. People with 20-30k viewers can easily make 25k/month. Most of the smaller streamers will probably go back to school and the bigger streamers and youtubers get so much attention that they won't have a problem to find another job in the entertainment industry or the gaming industry. They have so many connections they probably won't even earn less if streaming and youtube ever dies. Until then the big youtubers will continue to make 8 figures maybe even 9 in a few years and believe me they will never have to ask themselves if they are able to retire. The only question is when they want to retire.

Disagree with the trends and difficulty getting into popular and well established games. A good selling point is how good you are at competitive gaming so your gameplay is inherently unique (e.g Macie Jay, Sergio, Beaulo), personality is important too. Conjoined with becoming a professional Esports player (E.g Pengu) you can sell yourself easier on twitch once you become a more renowned Esports player or even have it the other way round. Record your streams to monetise on youtube too for more a revenue. Of course if you only want to stream then hopping on new trends is always better than playing old games with a lack of viewers (The amount of viewers on a game influences other potential viewers greatly).

Zedek They're not the same. Not at all. On KZbin you get money by monetizing the ads, that you have on your videos. On Twitch the majority of the money you make comes from donations, which come in like crazy mofos depending on the streamer.

Zedek I'm fairly sure you're not aloud to talk about the pay structure very specifically with you are getting paid...But yeah, streaming is much easier, ends up paying more, and generally, you have to spend less time on it. I stream, then edit and post the VODs. Editing is a very special thing to deal with. Consider this: if you stream for 4 hours, and don't time stamp things you want edited it (which, at the very least, I don't), then you have to re-watch the entire 4 hours stream, and on top of that, you have to edit it. So you end up working for 5-6 hours to edit a 4 hour stream, if you do this everyday (which I don't), than you're working 9-10 hours a day in front of the screen, and until you get "discovered", you're getting paid little to nothing for it.

Fireckrakermola You'll have to get a capture card and hook it up to your computer. The decent ones are usually around $150-200. Good luck trying to get any Nintendo content on KZbin though without partnering with a studio or joining Nintendo's partnership program.
