This was one of the first videos I watched when buying a new labtop, I really enjoyed the video but felt the 1650 was to lack luster, along with the screen 60hz, & 8gb of ram. I went looking for other options like the Helios 300, I eventually "rediscovered" the Strix g 531gu varient of this labtop that addressed all of my concerns, with a 1660 ti, 120 Hz panel & 16 GB of RAM. Long story short it's in the mail, and this wouldn't be possible if not for @Aweoftech, thank you and I really appricate it.

after much consideration i've decided to purchase this laptop and boy am i not disappointed! this laptop is the best bang for buck for intermediate gamers; i can run cs go at 150-200 fps at high settings and league of legends at 170 fps high settings no problem and everything is so smooth. i also especially love the way this laptop looks, the keyboard feels really nice, the aesthetics are on point, i cannot find anything to say wrong about this laptop! one of the best purchases i've ever made so far!

While I am gaming on Turbo fan modes, the thermals of GPU and CPU are around 90 degrees C I am plugged into charge & playing heavy games like Warzone or RDR2. So is this thermals fine? I got mine with the 120Hz display and invested into a 16GB ram so it can run in dual channel. The processor is doing well in single and multi threaded tasks (I'm using it to simulate FPGA models so it's close enough to compiling large programs) and I have no issues with it. The gtx 1650 in mine is doing pretty good in running modern AAA titles on mid to high settings. So overall it's good for programming and moderate gaming (as long as you invest into a second ram stick to get it running into dual channel mode)
