When you say "step" does that mean 1.3 becomes 1.4 for example?

It all depends on where you put the AT-143 on how much it effects the stiffness of the bar. The way those effect the bars are by increasing the % of how hard they are. You can do 1/4% and 1/2% harder. Hope that helps.
