So I had a wheat cent from 1911 but today on April 18 2024 I got a 1910 penny C:

Looking at that damaged penny in certain light makes it look like it's slightly "waffled". Looks similar to one shown in my red book, just not as extreme.

When I go to my bankgster to pick up my boxes of pennies. I get fussy when I see those boxes!!! Loomis uses a whole stick of glue to seal their boxes and the rolls are wrapped very tight and take longer to open. 🤣😅🤣😅🤣😅🤣

I found 2 steel pennies over the winter, detecting in Arizona. Was an area heavily used to train Patton's troops during WWII.

I'm up in Washington literally on the border and Canadian coins here continue to be used interchangeably with American. Our parking meters still take Canadian coins equal to U.S. denoms!

It's no joke. I live in mid Maine and the ratio of keep to spend (Lincolns especially) is RIDICULOUS. Honest to God, alot of these videos take 20X longer than it takes me to find the same or more value in Lincolns. Feelin blessed! 🙏🙂

The first box was sweet! That 1963-P was amazing - and I haven't found a steel cent in forever - that was a nice find! One wheatie from the teens, two from the 20's and two from the 30's - you can't get mad at that! That was a boatload of copper! Another great video!

I'm from Maine and you did awesome. When I started a ten year ago or so I used to get that many in one box. But not as much anymore. Plus the Canadian pennies. I used to get twenty or thirty a box . I can't complain. Good luck and keep searching. That's all you can do. Love your show.😊😊😊

That weird 1980s penny might have been a parking lot find where the heads was up and the back was down and the ware on the head was from cars driving over it until someone pulled it up out of the asphalt for luck "find a penny, pick it up. All day long, you'll have good luck!."

I hate you Rob! Just kidding. I got my token 6 wheat pennies in my last two box hunt. Found a bunch of variety coins I need to scope. Some 69S’s, couple 59’s and a couple Canadian eh coins. Love your videos!! I havent bought a box yet, but considering it since i've had pretty good luck just buying individual rolls from the bank. Nicest finds i've had so far in terms of pennies have been a Red 1958, two 1962 reds in the same roll, and a 1928. Also searching nickel rolls and the oldest i've found to date is 1939 and 1940. Keeping my hopes up that at some point i'll find some war nickels as well and a1938 haha.

1963-B. Issued in December 1968 and January 1969, if it has Joseph Barr's signature. He was Secretary of the Treasury for about a month at the end of the LBJ administration.

Good hunt. Found two wheats in change this week. You don't see them very often. Hell you are not seeing much copper either here. It used to be every one in ten pennies was copper now it seems it's one in 30 now.

A buddy of mine was saying that he has coin roll hunted all his life in Texas but moved recently because he's noticed that Texas just isn't producing anymore. On a side note Rob I do think that that 1980s mystery coin is some sort of error.

He keeps all copper. He is known to put 1959's to the side as a transition year highlight and put 1969-S to the side as a way of showing the viewers that "yeah, I checked them for the DDO's". But you are right, the circulated 69's are not worth anything.
