Yeah, it's pretty. BUT does it sound like a Chevrolet? Good luck with the 430 running gear on a trip.
@Colorado_Native3 жыл бұрын
If that's the tranny I think it is here are the gear ratios - 2.66:1, 1.78:1, 1.30:1, 1:1, .8:1, and .63:1. The top two gears are overdrives, so the 4.3 gear ratio works out to be 3.44:1 in 5th gear and 6th gear to 2.71:1. These are actually fairly tall and should work out pretty good out on the highway. I don't know what size tires he's running, but there should be no problem. My Jeep runs 4:10s with fairly tall tires and is not even pulling 2,000 rpm at 60 mph. My 1978 Camaro Z-28 with an M21 runs 3.73s but only a 1:1 final ratio and pulls 3,000 at 60 mph. Hope this helps.

Yeah grey is such a cool color (🤭) and there's nothing suits a fifties car more than rubber band tires and tall rims! FFS, every twat throws them on their cars these days. It's fashionable, not timeless. Good job!!!

Doesn't anyone notice that these artifially lowered things look like cars with broken springs. Then there's the larger question of why someone would destroy an historical artifact in order to fulfill their vulgar tastes. By doing so, you cut the connection with the past which is why historical artifacts are so desirable.

Some of them take the entire original chassis and driveline and store it. Then they put the body on a art Morrison chassis and modern driveline. So they don't hurt the originality of the vehicle.
