Awesome Budget Spray Gun ANi F160

The ANi F160 is an old favourite of mine. I have heard some reports of possible quality control issues in recent times, ANi are an Italian company and they've had some Covid related issues with production, I'm just warning you. This is an older gun and still going strong. Whilst these guns have never been the best of the best when it comes to build quality, they have absolutely nailed the atomisation. I'm using the 1.3, here's a link to where I got mine.

Looks great Gunny I think you would be able to spray a car with one of those Colad pump bottles we use for wax & grease remover 😂 there's a challenge for you mate 👍 I have an ANI gun that looks the same as that but the finish on the gun is totally different plus it doesn't even have a model number, I paid £35 for it from Chris at Spray Guns Direct it has a 1.8 and 2.0 nozzle and used to spray primer really well but now use my FLG5 for primer. What gun would you recommend for a semi experienced painter, with a good high volume compressor and a budget of max 500 dollar? Easy painting and quality results are important. I know it’s personal taste but perhaps one stands out from another. Mainly clears and perhaps base paints- would consider a separate base gun also

Id buy one of these. Flg5 is good but i find iv got to slow down alot or overlap more to get wet finish. Cant go wrong for the price 👊

Fucking beautiful color, and that liquid glass finish. Love it. What is in your opinion the flattest spraying budget gun out there (of all you have tested) ? As in, least amount of orange peel, I'm a luxury boat finisher, and repair the moulds we use for the infusions ... and, well, the less orange peel there is, the lower grit I can start at. PS: I'm spraying Gelcoat. So, a 1.0 is I guess as low as I can go / 0.8 on a mini if I increase the psi.

Try using duratec topcoat, You will never get a finish as close as this with gelcoat, I repair all my molds with duratec not gelcoat

@@gricads Thx for the answer, however, unfortunately it is not within my power to decide what products I use, only the tools (and even then, only the tools I buy myself ... if I ask my employer for a tool, it's the one they decided to buy for me). That's why I'm more interested in a great quality flat finish affordable gun. To reduce the amount of sanding I need to do (as we also don't use the best gelcoat available (unfortunately) ... Thx tho ^^

Use the same gun...for the money the Italians clearly know how to make a decent budget gun for sure. I have the mini also which I use for smart repair instagram vnb_vehichle_smart_repair 👍🏽
