You might as well do some more with the WS 400 Series 2 since it’s the upgraded version of these since you seem to have this dialed in. I remember you not being a big fan of it but now you appear to like it more and more.

Humor me and try clear with gti pro lite with te110, 1.2mm fluid and bump up the pressure at inlet to 2.2-2.3bar. Bit slower but gives glass finish for me.

You should try the Porphis 717 VS paint gun. They would probably send you one if you email them. It would be cool to get the gun man's opinion on that budget gun.

It think he talked about that gun in one of his videos and told like if they don't contact him he won't contact them because he already has a lot of guns

@stipq076 @Porphis-Group please contact the gun man. We would like to see him review a 717 VS spray gun.

That Mr Gunman is nothing less than clearcoat porn🤩it must be up there with one of your best finishes on here to date it's always very satisfying to lay a nice super flat coat of clear👌that Supernova is the best gun for a finish like you have here, I have a lot of guns and my WS400 Series 2 digital is probably the best gun for flat finishes, nice job mate👏🙏👍John UK

How is the new Supernova model for over spray? I always felt the first Supernova clear coat gun made more over spray than anything I ever used. Much more than the Devilbiss DV1-C and Ani 200 black skull edition. I too was not big on PPG clears and there are so many. There are a lot of Chromax but I like Chromax better as well as Sikkens.

@The Gunman RAW i have a question when you spray the first coat you go fast and not very wet coat and on second you go little slower and wet right ?

Good ole iwata duel split nozzle tech. I think I read somewhere they were meant to spray like that wide open to correct for uneven overlap per pass could be wrong though . The series 2 I think sprays worlds better wide open than the first version

So hard to get rid of solvent boil
@cristianb.41358 күн бұрын
Why?
@TheGunmanChannel8 күн бұрын
It's actually impossible to get rid of without repainting, those bubbles won't just go away, you can hide them but that's it
@tonydiesel34448 күн бұрын
Don't paint when it's too hot with fast hardeners and don't apply any Coatings too thick then you won't have the problem anymore
@latinprince8967 күн бұрын
You wont get solvent pop if you give enough time between coats and allow for solvents to release on their own before adding another coat. Solvent pop only happens when you lay down coats one right after the other. Its a fairly simple issue to avoid.
@cristianb.41357 күн бұрын
You forgot not enough ventilation(with standard/slow hardener), too thick coats, foulty spray pattern( too much center heavier or bottom-upper heavier) and too low pressure.
