Brilliant little fishing session that one, it's brutal how those snapper bite the heads of the live bait. Have you tried hooking the little mullet up through the the month? There's a little white line on the roof of there month that acts like a guide for hook placement. Great video! Thanks again.

i had before but found prefer hooking it through the tail or the back of the head mainly cause it doesn't rip off too easily via cast

good tip for live baits: use 2 hooks. hook one through the nose and one through the dorsal fin. that way you wont lose the heads like that.

If you hook the live bait in the tail, in swift current it can drown them. Far better behind the head or front lip to keep them pointing into the current. More natural as well. But seems its working either way :) Another great video. Well done. On throwing the smaller ones back.
