Wow what a collection. I was given Prismacolor Premiers for Christmas. My last set was a mishmash of pencils from my schooldays and my children's school days, I've shared them with my grandkids too. I like coloring in coloring books as I'm new to coloring and started to color for mental health reasons. I've been eying those watercolor pencils though, the rest of my family paints. Oh holy cow!!! What a giveaway!!! My favorite colored pencils are the Prismacolor pencil. I love them because of their extreme softness and blendability. I love to color out of Johanna Basford books with them. I really want to start coloring portraits/people.

I love prismacolor because they are smooth and Koh-I-Noor polycolor because they blend well and dont breaks often. I've been teaching my 2 older nieces how to color and draw, more recently they've been wanting to try other pencils. If I won this collection I'd utilize the supplies to help my nieces become the artist they aspire to be. Great video! Awesome collection.

Thank you for decluttering your color pencil supplies, My favorite color pencils are Prismacolor Premier because I like the way they blend and layer in my coloring books. I have some Poloychromos too but am not as familiar with them...yet! I am not an artist just someone who has always loved art starting with paint by number at a very young age. So when the adult coloring book craze came about it was a no brained for me to jump in and learn a new form of art. I am trying to break into water coloring but have been gun-shy abut investing in watercolor pencils. Oh how I would love a set of the Inktense and I might just make them the only thing on my Christmas wish list this year. Happy coloring!

My favorite watercolor pencils right now is the faber castell albrecht durer (my town has them open stock so it’s a kid in a candy store buying few at a time), but I would love to try the skin tone watercolor pencils. Thank you! So generous of you, and lucky for us lol. You've inspired me to try this also. I've acquired so much in my art journey. I feel that passing them on will help someone else feel inspired to start their own adventure. My favorite colored pencils are the Markarts. I love the feel m of them going down. To me they are creamy, but hard enough I don't snap the tips off as soon as I hit the paper. I would love to learn to draw so I could do my own art instead of just coloring in coloring books. Ooh! Look at all the beautiful colors! So many of those brands I have not come across in my searches for new pencils and I'm more than a little tempted to look into them. RIP my art shelf under all the weight of things. And my wallet whoops. I currently use Prismacolor Premier and Polychromos for most of my work, as I like to do realism with colored pencils and I've been messing around with colored pencils for that, upgrading from greyscale graphite. One that really caught my attention in your list here was the Koh-I-Noor 12 set, as I actually have the portrait set (and I love it!), and more color choices are always good. I'm also really curious about the Arteza brand, since I've only ever used their watercolors, for which I honestly have no skill at the moment. I need more patience for paints xD So basically my interests lie in testing out new brands to find what won't break the bank while I experiment with how on earth to create portraits without wanting to throw the sketchbook across the room lol It might also give me motivation to actually keep drawing more due to the fact that there's so many new things to try oh my goodness I think I might go draw now. Who needs sleep? xD

A while back, my dad and I ran into a yard sale and we came upon a whole bag full of pencils and well I bought them lol. They were all graphite which I can’t use under my watercolor works, but they are still good for practice. However, there was one blue watercolor pencil in the whole bag and I absolutely love it so much. So watercolor pencils are my favorite right now :)

I mainly use my Faber Castell, Prismacolor and Derwent colored pencils for most of my artwork, but I do use my other leftover random brand color pencils for my other artwork and coloring books! Any new color pencils will be used for my coloring books and color pencil drawings

Dang this is such a generous giveaway. I haven't had a lot of colored pencils so my favorite I would say would be the Derwent water color pencils. I tend to use colored pencils to make my watercolor/gouache paintings pop though I'd like to experiment more with just colored pencils on their own.

Hi Jane! I’m already a subscriber and a fan. I would love any number of the various items in your collection, but not the entire collection as I have a lot of “stuff” too (but not as much as you.) So if it’s the entire collection or nothing...I guess I’m “nothing.” But just for the heck of it, the Brunzeels would be great to try since you speak so highly of them....or the Artezas sound great too...never tried either brand. I’m working on building my own stash of Polychromos. I too am a (fairly new) lover of Caran D’Ache as I only recently used a 12 color set of their watercolor pencils that I bought years ago and never really put them to use and was blown away with how fantastic they are.. Their Neo Color2 water soluble crayons are really wonderful too. I’m sure some very lucky winner will be thrilled by receiving such a generous giveaway. All my best to you!

I enjoy Black Widow wax colored pencils. They have a very "classic" feel to them. When i color with them, they remind me of when I would color with my Grandma. We use to do some pretty drawings of nature and small creatures (though lately I have been getting into more fantasy designs). I still like to use the waxy pencils.

FABER-CASTELL hands down for. (i guess i'm a pencil snob). this giveaway would help me out so much with my senior art students. the look on their faces if i was able to tell them to pick out a set, IT'S YOURS!! so many times they are on a very tight income and even $5 is too much to pay for classes. My favorite are definitely the fiber castel watercolor! I use the watercolor pencils to do doll customs. I could definitely use some more colors to be able to make more complicated eye colors. I also like the Derwent ones. Generally the German brands are pretty good.

I'm currently am using Prismacolor Premier. I'm still new to using colored pencils. Trying to figure out the layering process. And especially trying to get flesh tone colors figured out. Just trial and error practice. I was super amazed by how artist are using colored pencils for their professional use. Making lifelike portrait. Which is amazing. Because I didn't know colored pencils could do that. So that is why I'm using Prismacolor colored pencils for now. Then work my way up to professional quality colored pencils. That is my main goal is to make portrait like flesh tone art. And many more other's uses to with them. Good luck to all.

Hello Ms. Jane! :) Thanks for doing this giveaway it is an amazingly kind thing for you to do! I would have to say my favorite colored pencils (for nostalgic and finance reasons) are Crayola colored pencils! Crayola pencils were the first pencils I ever used, seeing as I am still a highschool student with no job I could never buy the more expensive colored pencils (until last year). I know they have a very bad reputation in the art community, although I am not sure why. Sure, they are a lot of work to get a good smooth realistic look, but I think art should be for everyone regardless of how much money one has or the supplies that one owns. What I have learned in my short art "journey" is: if you love something and you want it enough it is worth the work, and Crayola colored pencils have taught me to embrace that! And side note: I have won every art contest I have entered with Crayola, so it shows me that I am capable of using them in a professional way, but I am so ready to expand! :) If I were lucky enough to win your giveaway I would continue to practice and create my realistic works of portraits, still life, and landscapes! As I have Lupus and take a crazy amount of meds, my hands are not steady enough to color in the lines. For my birthday my husband bought me a Misti so I can now stamp. Unfortunately I have no way to add color. I like the idea of watercolor pencils so I could just add more water and soak up my mistakes. You also mentioned that there are thicker pencils which would work great in between my swollen fingers. You would know better than me which brand would work best for me. Already been subscribed. I'm kinda new to colored pencils. So far my favorite is prismacolor to be honest. But I'd love to try any of them. Probably my favorite thing to go crazy with in my sketchbook when I'm feeling down. (Not watercolor pencils) but I'd love to try the arteza colored pencils. It's been on my list. If I won? The only colored pencils I have is a set of Prismacolor I had to buy 18 years ago for a design class and some random small sets of derwent and some cheep ones I’ve picked up along the way. Ive been grabbing them recently for art journaling and my favorite for that is the inktense pencils. I almost forgot the erasable colored pencils which I do enjoy using for sketching. I would really like to learn how to do more realistic animals in colored pencils, I’ve seen so many amazing pieces done with them.

I don't have a favorite brand of color pencils because I've never owned them. I do, however, have some Derwent water soluble graphite pencils. I've been having so much fun with them too. I started watercolor painting and would love some watercolor pencils to go with. Living 45 minutes from the nearest art supply that is only open during my work hours makes it difficult to shop around for different brands, etc. Winning one of your lovely watercolor pencil sets would be really awesome. Although I live in India , my Daughter lives in USA and I do visit her once a twice every year . You could ship any of your giveaways to her US address and I would be delighted to receive it . My favorite colored pencils are my Faber-Castells. I have had the 100 set of polychromos for many years, but I just recently took an interest in learning how to use them. I like them because they are light fast, they layer very nicely and they don't break. I've never had any problems when sharpening them either, which is more than I can say for the Prismacolor set I recently tried. I'm also learning watercolor. I bought a cheap set of student grade water soluble pencils because I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest a ton of money yet. I am planning to do a portrait of a friend who passed away two years ago to give to his wife. I'm thinking of doing it mixed media with watercolor and ink. It would be very nice to have some better quality pencils to work with! ❤

Right now I'm new to the adult coloring and all I have are crayola pencils and a couple of Jade Summer books. I wanna try some better supplies and really get in to it. My therapist suggested coloring to help ground me and relax me as I suffer from lots of anxiety...I'm actually loving it and it really does help just give me a few hours a day where I'm not worried about the millions of things that run through my mind.

My favorite would be the Prismacolor premier soft core pencils.I have the 150 set(the full set) and they are the absolute best.They blend like heaven and their pigments are very rich.You should do a review on the Chameleon color tones colored pencils

They are so creamy, smooth, and vibrant. I have wanted to try other brands and even watercolor pencils, however, being disabled my money is very tight. Of course I've heard of other pencils, but I've never really known how the work in comparison to others, so I'd like to venture out. My most favorite things to color are flowers! Anything plant like. Good morning. My favorite pencils right now are my prisma colors. My first set i bought used off of ebay. They are the most affordable artist pencils for me. I want to try some other brands to see what they're like. I started as a colorist and have started doing my own drawings. I love the Polychromos pencils. They are so creamy it feel nearly effortless to use them. It just makes me happy! Also, I'd like too take a urban hiking sketch tour of many different towns and cites... I'd like this to be a multi-year project. New city every few months or something similar. I really think colored pencils would add to that experience.

My favorite brands are Caran d'Ache & CarbOthello. I am just beginning to work with pastels and need some pastel pencils for foundational layout. The small set of greys you offered would be good for this as well as tonal studies.

I love prismas, just because they lay down softly. But having said that, I’ve just gone through 4 pencils because of shattered leads and cursed at them, threatened to switch to my other favorite, polychromos. I would love to have the Walnut Hollow set, I have three of those and use them sparingly because you can’t find them any more.

My favorite colored pencils is between Polychromos and Arteza. I mostly color in adult coloring books, and I've wanted to try those 168 colored pencils, I'm trying to find a decent oil based colored pencil that isn't as pricy as Polychromos. I've never tried water colors but would love you try any brand. And those Walnut pencils!? Wow sounds really really cool. I also really need a pencil case, so to win the just on it's own would be perfect lol. To do this is so so amazing of you. Thank you for the chance to win something I might be scared to buy. Aloha Jane, Your Charisma is Da Best! If Jamie lee Curtis & Annie Lennox could have a baby, it would look like you! WOW, you got a hella lot pencils sistah! Anyways, My favorite CP to use for the last 15 or so years are Prismacolors. I love the vibrancy, softness, color selection and somewhat affordable price. There have been some quality control complaints in the past however, the ones that I have purchased have always been AWESOME. Plus, they are available OS (Opened Stock) which is a WIN in my colorful life! I create whimsical art that is inspired by nature and being from Hawai'i, most of my art is based around our aquatic friends. LOVE your videos and SORRY about the loss of "BOB". Sadie is adorable! I have an Art muse too, Mercedes Luna (rescue) this past FEB. She's a Black Female and does keep me in check especially on the "rainy" days, which aren't often but, I too believe that animals know when our skies sometimes get gray. My second fav, or fav reg pencil, would be Faber Castell because I love the vibrancy of the colors, thickness/sturdiness of those pencils, and the properties of an oil pencil over wax :) This is awesome, Sweet Jane!! My favorite colored pencils are Polychromos. I purchased 24 and a handful of open stock to meet specific needs. I teach artistic colored pencil at the Senior Center, and got a set of Prismacolor to have experience with a less expensive brand which I can recommend to students. I would use your give away pencils in my own artwork, but also as a foundation for helping students discover a wider range of possibilities for their work. Thank you for your generosity, both as a teaching artist, and a giver of pencils.

I am currently working on several drawings while listening to you talk, there is something soothing about it that helps me concentrate. Anyway, why not, I'll try for the giveaway. My favorite brand is Blick's studio not only because they are good pencils, but they are also very special to me. I bought them after I graduated school after a very difficult time of my life. I love Faber Castell polys and watercolour pencils, however I treat them as precious and I don’t use them as often as I should. Anyone, know a way to get past the feeling of pencils too precious to use. Or is this a common theme among artists

I honestly can’t choose a favorite pencil. I like different pencils for different reasons, plus I really like to mix my pencils together and use all of the different colors. I use coloring and art to help me deal with chronic pain and anxiety and I would use these pencils to help me expand the things I can create. Plus, pencils make me happy 😊
