Awesome looking spots. Id like to try some of those small worms. Ever since i was a kid and saw someone killing them with a hares ear nymph on a spinning rod ive always wanted to learn how to present all baits,. especially flies like you could with a flyrod. This past Wednesday was one of my best days ever. My brother in law has land that a small, mostly private branch runs through and its amazing. Best part is its not only fishable when the main branch is blown out, but downright perfect. The bad part is the river itself is one of if not the fastest clearing and its get insanely clear in no time. I bought a bloodrun pinland and decided to use my spinning reel on it until i buy the centerpin. However its an ultralight/ 3 wt. And while I can manage, it's hard enough WITH a drag, but in a tiny creek ive got to either have a drag or a stronger rod. Cant go with such a small rod and no drag

That's awesome you have a spot like that to fish. Yea some creeks we fish they clear up fast also and we never have much luck in low clear water. I never tried flies but part of me would like to some day. This is my second year center pin fishing my brother tried it first and loved it so I tried and it's so much fun. I have a blood run heavy carbon rod I have noticed it works well when I need to put some pressure on the fish to get them out of a tough spot. I appreciate you watching and taking time to comment thank you.

We started fishing steelhead about 4 years ago. They can be tough but once you figure it out it's a lot of fun. We watched videos on KZbin on how to float fish. There are different ways to catch them. People tell me egg sacks are the best. The biggest part is spending your time fishing and changing depth or lures. Fishing the right conditions helps big time. When water is like a green color or just a little stained.

great video!!! Do you stay on the same creek as the place u fished where u hooked about 6😂. If you do, do u fish upstream or down stream of that spot?
@GoodremoteOutdoors7 ай бұрын
Yes same creek we head down stream from that spot. That stream goes into another creek and then we go upstream on that one till the public fishing ends.
