The Golden Horseshoe and the chicken tenders will always be my go to when I'm at Disneyland. The food is good. The inside is rarely over crowded and its a nice place to get out of the heat for a bit. The old western ambience is one of my favorites as well.

@@frenesimyers1895 Oh really? We might get lucky when we go then. We usually get lunch there around 1pm or 2pm. If we eat there at night. We go when Fantasmic is going on, because everybody is outside for that. Also, the balcony seats tend to be less crowded from what I’ve noticed. We never sit on the first floor.

The Dole whip is gluten & dairy free. You can get it at Adventureland's Tropical Hideaway (walk up) or the Tiki Room (mobile order only).

You can ask for an allergy menu at sit down places, and a chef will even come consult with you to keep you safe. At counter serves and food carts, you can ask for ingredient/allergen lists. The mobile ordering app has food allergy specific ordering on some items with safe items for specific allergies listed. An important note: Disneyland popcorn from carts is dairy free! However, not all CA Adventure popcorn is, but Cozy Cone popcorn "butter" is dairy free. Our favorite gluten free dairy free treats are Dole Whips, Mint Juleps, and Dland popcorn! My youngest enjoys the giant suckers and cotton candy for an extra special surgery treat--he has a milk protein allergy so we're very careful for him. Slushies in CA Adventure are great too at Rita's; they have non alcoholic.

If you tap on a food spot for the menu on the Disneyland app, and you scroll to the bottom of each menu, they give you the options they have that they can make free of gluten/wheat, egg, milk, and peanuts/tree nuts.

Love the video as always! Your words at the end were really beautiful. I went from someone who had never been Disneyland to someone who got to for the first time last year to someone who is planning another trip this December and your videos were a huge part of helping me find that happy place for myself. I definitely appreciate the budget friendly (or friendlier) options in this video. I always have to wait to watch your videos until I'm eating otherwise I will just make myself so hungry! This reminded me a bit of that old show $40 a day. It would be fun if you two did a challenge where you each had $50 (or $100 if that's too hard) for a day in Disneyland or DCA. You would each have to get breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack and a souvenir. It would be fun to see what choices you each made and how you made your money stretch.

When we go to Pizza Planet when my GFs kid is with us . I always get the Chicken Fusilli , BUT I always add 2 packets of salt , 2 pepper and 2 of parmesan cheese! just makes it better ;)
