Thank you I really enjoy meeting everyone. One time my daughter was in the car ready to go and I was walking around inside still talking to folks😂. It took me a while to get up to speed too this is why I'm not holding back any info because time is of the essence with this economy and with so many stores shutting down. Hello lovely Miss SOD💕 I finally participated in my first remodel. There were 2 stores in my area. My main store was pulling everything the week before. The other store didn’t have much but it was a good time. There was only 5 of us. I was fifth in line. The 4 in front on me were some heavy hitters. I’ve seen them before. Very nice ladies. They knew it was my first remodel & they shared a couple of things with me. The wall art pictures was untouched so I got those and a few more things. I spent just under $1.00. It was fun & overwhelming. I’m looking forward to the next one. Big thanks to you Miss SOD for all your help. I appreciate you & those beautiful roses 🤗

We had so much fun and it was great meeting you! I couldn’t believe people cut the line. How sad since we actually spent the night there. I was really confused at how the first two ladies went in without a cart or bags and the I saw them with two buggies loaded to the top. Oh well, there was so much for all of us so I won’t complain. Thank you for guiding us and teaching us, you are so knowledgeable.

Yes there was so much at that store but I really don't know about the other thing. I believe some folks had companions pushing carts for them. The beauty of remodels happening all over is you won't necessarily see the same folks every weekend so we aren't going to let anyone steal our joy 🙌🏽❤🙌🏽❤.

I went to a remodel Sunday and there was a family that must have hidden a bunch of stuff the night before because I was there earlier on Saturday and where they pulled stuff from was definitely not there before. I already had my eye on that section so I am certain. I called them out but they just stared at me like they could care less. It is so irritating. The pet food situation happened at my remodel also, people had rolltainers full. Not sure what the end result was as I checked out before them but I know they were planning to wait for a while to see if it would reset

Thank you so much and I'm so sorry that you had to deal with that. I had a guy last month that was so brazing that he actually was yelling, " mom I found where I hid it". They just don't care. I had one teenager tell me " well my mom said she doesn't care what anyone thinks as long as we get what we want". It's one thing to compete against the wonky DG app but when I travel to locations I know that it'll be tough competing against some locals who know the store and have plenty of time to hide stuff. That's why I always move them when I find them and put them in the wide open for everyone else or whoever gets there first.

@@stretchourdollars Yep, I move them too. Was recently at another store about to remodel and saw hidden items. I put them where they belong and the staff then reorganized the whole shelf. I'm sure they will be surprised their items are no longer hidden.

A lot went for brown dot, snacks, underwear, mossy oak ( they pulled it though) and the kitchen items aisle was jammed packed with folks. Well they didn't have to want too much. A couple ladies wanted to trade so I let them pick something from my bags. I scanned stuff to help others get some of the stuff that they wanted too, once I finished looking for my daughter😂. That kid of mine can really be a drill Sgt at times 😂😂

I want to ask you, when employees pull the items, what do they do with it? Do they keep it?

I can't speak on what they do with them. You'll hear a lot of stories from sending it back to corporate, donating, to going in the dumpster. It's not my place to speak so broadly on all employees.

Only if your DG is remodeling. The items that are pennying do change from location to location however, for the most part at a full remodel a lot of this stuff will penny. Sometimes it's the toys, bathroom, paper products, laundry section🥰 or the hair care too. That 1¢ shea moisture reg price $11 was 🔥🔥

Most times the employee that closes on Saturday night is not the same employee that opens the store on Sunday morning. When a store is hours away after driving all of that distance, I can't speak for anyone else but I need a nap😞
