Run review: This run of SMS was highly enjoyable for me. The runner knew his setups very well and nailed almost all of his tricks. Combine the tricks with sleek and optimized movement and you've go got visually pleasing run as well. 3 hours can be kind of long for a run but the couch made this run. They joke and tease and even pay homage (not well but still welcomed) to the original dododo crew. You get the sense they're all just good buds who enjoy SMS. Announcers were a bit in your face at first but it's a charity event so it's expected. All in all, the couch and runner did a great job and if you've got free time this is a great run to watch if you're interested in cool tricks and speed running.

Something I find interesting is that the glitch they talk about at around 52:50 (the one where you clip through the ferris wheel) is actually in the official Nintendo Power player's guide that was released when the game came out. Correct me if I'm wrong on that, but I swear that's how I found out about the glitch, since I've known you could do that ever since I was a little kid.

The run commercials every so often since it's a charity stream, it usually doesn't affect the short runs because they put them between the runs, but there's really nowhere else on the long runs. Edit: the reason you aren't seeing the commercials is because of how twitch saves its VODs.

David poles it's only during the stream. The stream is run at two times, once in January I believe and once in July. If you want to have it read live or try and get a prize, you need to wait for summer games done quick to air in July, or if you want to donate outright, simply go to the prevent cancer foundation (AGDQ) or doctors without borders (SGDQ)
