Awesome Haughton Traction Elevators @ Milwaukee Public Museum in Milwaukee, WI

These are some awesome and historical Haughton modernized by SchindlerHaughton with GAL. I haven't ridden these elevators for 10 years and it's good that I finally got to ride these again after it's been so long, and unfortunately these elevators won't be around for long in the next couple of years since this museum will relocate and get demolished, and even if these will no longer exist at some point, these beautiful elevators shall not be forgotten! So if anyone happens to be here in downtown MKE, would definitely recommend visiting here and ride these beauties while you still can because like I said, these elevators won't be around for long anymore. And interesting that some of the GAL buttons are mixed with Black and white, the white ones are the main floors, while the black buttons represent staff only levels.

Even though I'm not from around here my grandparents took me here several times when I was young, so yes it's nostalgic for me too. Gonna miss the place. Call buttons are PTL Performed btw

Pretty sweet and emotional! It is sad, when museums move - they stop exhibiting their selves. I've heard of train spotters... Never knew that similar elevator enthusiasts exist. 😅
