Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you gentlemen. I've been using a three gallon fire fighting knapsack on my back- works, but it's slow- and I'm old, and I end up wetter than the weeds:) Jay.

Hi Vespa Morelli. The shed has an upstairs so it won't fit indoors. He gets to use it 3 days a year😜👍 Thanks for commenting Cheers Gerry👍

Well done Gerry and Jamie a pleasure to watch as usual Great video One extra I would like is an on-off valve allows pressure to build and instant turn off and possible on line filter kind regards Sean

Sean, Excellent suggestion for the on/off valve, the pump does not have an auto shut off like some of the more expensive ones so remembering to switch is key. What we forgot to show was the non return valve fitted to stop the system draining back so you get consistent coverage whist spraying

A inline filter is an excellent idea, saves getting the nozzles blocked every 5 mins, there was weighted filter for the tank but the inline would save much swearing!! Jamie

Jets should be pointed down to reduce drift, and reduce the pressure a bit.

i have built the same thing some years ago to put on my 22hp lawn tractor, but my problem been, them Rv presser pumps dont last long, as the round up eats the rubber impeller, sofens it up and it dont have any presser left, i also bought a pony 12 volt pump and ordered the better inpeller, that was to be able to take the cemicel, again in a short time it failed. so i broke down and ordered a pump used on the ATV sprayers, but they dont have enough presser to blow your nose. i later bough a gas untility pump witch has a metal disk impeller. that works great. only problem been, you can not control the presser, it is a small pump, that a garden hose conects to the pump. it been way over kill, but it been the only pump that lasts, i was shocked that the very costly 12 volt pump i ordered that was a direct replacment for the factory ATV sprayers dont have enough presser, even says onn the pump 30psi, witch is not enough when running a boom with 10 spray heads on it. it works not bad with just the one fan spray head. but i would be out there for days spraying my fence lines, all my live stock grazing feilds, i have got really frustrated trying to find a small pump that lasts and works, the gas run untility pump works great, but is way to bulky on the mower. the pony pumpp i bought cost me over $100 cnd plus the better impeller kit for chemical, cost an extrar $17 cnd. the RV or as you call them, a care a van, was over $300 cnd and the impeller lasted about an hour, sure it has a ajustable presser switch, to 100 psi, if the impeller dont fail first, the plastic housing gets soft and leaks

Gerry, a newbie question here... What power supply did you use for the pump? I see the pump on top of the drum but where is the power supply?

12volts from the battery that powers the tractor

Not all spraying is poison wouldn’t it be a nice way to feed a lawn or even water it in dry weather or perhaps to spray the spuds for blight etc.
