Yes they are! It is nice on the larger planes to get into a 4-6" wheel but yea the smaller aircraft have pretty small wheels!

As an RC pilot, I love these kind of vids, I don't really have any rc fields near me, so I go to a field by a lake, a plane magnet lake, one time I lost all control and sent a clipped wing club to it's first dive, it flew the next day.

Oh memories. I was 14 I first met my dad went and spent a summer with him. He was huge into RC planes. I built 2. A telecaster and a B25. Crashed the telecaster first time flying it. Never had the balls to try flying the bomber so Stuck electric motors in it put the props on backwards and used it as a fan in the room. ...

Those landing speed of these jets , is so very fast . Have you thought of putting parachute air brakes on them ?

HAHA! You get used to it. Some of them do have a Chute System as the full size does. Like the A4 as an example. It's more of a scale item but it does add function. Brakes can be important!

Hey Ken. Thanks for watching! These are one of my Favourite videos to watch as well! The Snowbird landing was at the Springbank Airport just West of Calgary YYC. It was at the 2 day airshow there in 2019. We opened both days for the airshow with RC flights and we were waiting to go out to the runway to start our flights when It landed.

Gonna reprobate landing is so hard and trimming because it involves aerodynamics so you deserve an applause cause it's very rarely to have a smooth landing That's how it is with prop heads they're attracted to those motors goes hand and hand if you love motors you don't have any skill

Really shows how difficult it is to fly high performance/scale RC aircraft. Also how important wing loading is. The larger aircraft were much more manageable at low speed. RC approach and landings are far more like critical carrier profiles, given that the ideal touchdown area is actually quite small, even on a large open space.

Absolutely! The larger it is, generally the easier it is to fly. But people worry about the crashing and the larger the plane usually the more $$$ involved. Thanks for watching!

Some of the landings were SILK even on a Grass Strip.... some just could not let go of BASKETBALL!!! there were those it seems the length of the runway was not defined!!!
