This was the judges song choice night, and at first he wasn’t sure if he can do it justice to Braddah IZ’s version. I think he did great!

yes it’s the whispers at the end! I had a hard time thinking of how i can explain how I feel when Iam sings and the best one yet is it’s like a beautiful calming dream 🥰 he takes me with him to where he is at that moment while he sings 🥰

This has become my favourite version of this song. Both Louis Armstrong's and IZ's versions are amazing in their own different ways, but, to me, Iam brings the souls of both versions in and out comes a completely different sensation. It is what he does with all the songs he sings.

I do agree that when Braddah Iz and many other Hawaiian artists, their covers seems to bring a more melancholy song and they put a more hopeful and positive feel and vibe to it. Somewhere over the rainbow when sung by Judy Garland has a different vibe than when Israel sings it. It goes from somber to hopeful. Listen to the song by Tracy Chapman, Baby, Can I hold you tonight sung by her, and then a cover by Ale'a, who's version is a more brighter and positive vibe to it.

I think he will be more than Iz as he has shown he can sing in Fijian, Spanish, Tongan, Hawaiian, English and probably many other languages and that's because he's lived amongst these cultures, has friends from them, knows how to cheer others up with his singing

Great reaction. Iam has such a nice resonance to his voice. It is soul touching. But, for me, the classic Louis Armstrong is too iconic in my memory for anyone to top it. But his version of Father and Son may have come to perfection with the Cat Stevens original.

I felt the same way looking at that camera view of Katy Perry. No space around her. Creepy. Iam does a tribute to Armstrong and Iz, but puts a Tongi spin on it. Congratulations Iam for another great performance!

Have you guys considered reacting to some older songs? Johnny cash’s Hurt would be a good one. Also Rag’n’Bone man’s music, and Imagine Dragons have some really good emotional songs.

Agree with the comment from Cine.....Iam was not sure he wanted to do this song, because he was afraid he might emulate IZ too much and at the same time, not do it justice.
