@@kultofathena6217 Could talk about the features/differences that led you to feel that way? I've had a lot of positive experience with several LK Chen sword purchases, but (at least within the time-frame I purchased swords from LK Chen) there have been several (let's call them secondary) design choices that weren't quite where LK Chen himself wanted them to be. The ultimate expression of this has been when he has re-released updated sword models to better fit the historical benchmarks of the weapons his company is attempting to accurately reproduce. Very early into LK Chen's international debut, I discussed with him his intent to reach an Albion level of historicity when it comes to the various product lines his company releases. I think this is a fantastic initial goal, and Mr. Chen's offerings have very visibly been working to achieve that stated goal. Competent professional competition is the best way to expand this hobby out of the nichest of shadows, and into something like popular acceptance, and perhaps even general interest.

If it is only leather, it is a sheath, not a scabbard. The metal piece on the throat of the sheath is called a "locket". The metal piece on the end of the sheath is called a "chape".

Well.... Save the pennies and buy them both. Thanks for the review. Loved it. I think Kult of Athena is one of the better distributors. I feel as if I can trust their opinions.
