Drink the soda to up your energy. Technically you don't need to sleep if you have soda and/or energy mix. Make the bag for extra room. Collect the red algae to make healing mix.

Thanks! It seems like resources (wood, metal, etc.) are actually balanced pretty good and yet it keeps things challenging. It's good to know they respawn. 👍

the resources do respawn some just take longer than others.

also if an lootbox has a trash item you dont need , leave it behind as doing so will refill an reroll the loot inside.@@Glidercat

I can already see a huge pet peeve of mine when it comes to survival games: tiny inventory + large building requirements. If I gotta collect a bunch of stuff, let me carry it at least! Looks interesting so far, though.

I agree! I've never found it fun, in ANY game, to have to manage a small inventory. I'm generally ok with a small number of inventory slots as long as stack sizes are pretty big, but I hate when one or two different items end up consuming 90% of your inventory when out scavenging. All that said, Sunkenlands so far is a ton of fun. I'm really enjoying it!

Just watched a new youtubers jump up thousands of subs playing subnautica.... It's a great game and your voice and game play, I think you would be fantastic to watch... It can be a bit scary

Thank you for the suggestion! 👍 Subnautica is a very cool game and I've thought about putting it on the channel in the past. I've also thought about doing a series on Ark: Survival Evolved. However, I've not had much success posting content for established (slightly older) games. My let's plays on Raft, Planet Crafter, Per Aspera all occurred after those games were well established and those series did not do well on the channel. It would be hard for a new Subnautica video from my small channel to even show up on the KZbin search page when competing against months and months worth of Subnautica videos from larger, more popular KZbinrs. It's a bit of a bummer, but I'm doing what I can to keep the channel afloat.

So far, I'm loving it!! 😺 You might want to skim the Steam reviews to see what caused some of the negatives. I know A LOT of times, multiplayer games have problems with that functionality when they first release since it's very hard to test beforehand. I think that might be part of the reason behind the early negative reviews, but I'm not sure.

@@Glidercat hmm okay :D i dont care much for multiplayer though.. one of the comments i do remember is about lack of starting island. as in you can only settle on that specific island and not move bases at all ??

@@kimsebimse6603 I don't play multiplayer either. The Steam description says you can build your base wherever you want, so I don't think that's much of an issue. You'll be able to grow food and wood resources in planters, so you don't necessarily even need to build your base on land.

@@Glidercat great :D question is if you can move bases too.. like, build up a small base on starter island.. scavenge and then move on to another and bigger island bigger base etc :D

@@kimsebimse6603I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you can. I think you can even takeover outlaw or mutant bases and make them your own if you want. I haven't tried that yet.

That's always a tough question since everyone values games differently. I can say that I've been searching for a promising new survival game for quite a while now and I'm very impressed with what I see in Sunkenland. There seems to be plenty to do in game. They had over 17,000 concurrent players on their first day of release so that is a very good sign. Hopefully, they have the funding to keep developing the game. It seems they are off to a fantastic start.
