I won't lie, I've fallen into this rabbit hole of packing & learning more about travel since I made my first solo travel (and indeed travel in general - scary) from the EU to the USA in order to visit my boyfriend. While it all went fine enough and frustrations were kept to a minimum I feel as though I've failed myself in many regards and could have made it a more or less stress-free thing. I packed horribly inefficiently, barely prepared, didn't think much through, and had no versatility in backpacks, slings, etc. I ended up always having to use a massive backpack regardless of where I went. Your tips and videos like these that are dense with information in such a wonderfully digestible way will help me so much. From both of us, thank you. He's had to keep me sane for the 14 or so hour process, haha. Also props to Nathan for his wonderful tips on his videos as well. I ramble: you've gotten me very interested in investing in a very good sling that will suit my needs for smaller travel as well as during flights. However, I will hold off until I find out whether or not some can hold a steam deck, which I'm also excited for.

I love the Bellroy Venture Sling as my EDC, I've also ordered the Alpaka Bravo Sling Max 10L to use as a personal items bag for my next trip. The measurements are perfect 15x10x6 inches, it's just below the maximum allowance for a personal item with most airlines which is 16x12x6 inches.. combined with my, sadly now sold company, Eagle Creek 50L expanse hauler backpack at 14x22x9 inches and no checked bag I'll be able to carry a total of 60L and a max of 10/12 kg allowance (on most airlines) as carry-on. Wearing the sling on my chest and the backpack on, well, my back, I'll be able to carry everything easily through airports and the likes.

Love the idea of a packable day pack. I’m asking my fiancé for the osprey ultralight 20l dry pack for Christmas 👀. No reviews on that pack yet on KZbin.

As much as I love my stowaway, unless I have it really packed out, all my gear just leans forward and I hate the wrinkled daypack look. Just makes me feel like I stand out as a tourist. I just upgraded to carrying the Topo Light Pack for my travel daypack for a little more structure. It's only 25 from Sierra right now

The Phillips brush has a big problem. It will not charge with a standard USB C to USB c cable. It will only charge with a USB A to USB C cable. Phillips was too lazy to put one extra resistor on their board, which would have resolved this issue.

The only thing I have a problem with the Patagonia jacket is the very cheap construction considering the price.

One thing about the USB-C chargeable Philips One toothbrush is that it may not be allowed to be in a check-in bag. If that's something that may be of concern for anyone. Thanks again for the reviews!
