Great Job. The interior is killer. I liked it all but the door pulls. Outside was beautiful. I have a 73 super my father and I restored. Loved the turn signals. I shaved mine as well but put them on the front bumper. We have a 2180 we are finishing. Need a stronger trans as well. Only needs money to finish. I went with light gray on the paint and older fenders on the rear. I hate the 1303s big tail lights. DOT is not crazy about specifics in Texas. Thanks for posting!

Yep. My hubby and I own 17 last count. 6 finished, the rest in various stages of undress. 15 trucks 2 and 3 doors. 16 vans. 6 of which are 21 window. All in doors. 5 4wd camper vans. Do you think we like vw?

Thank you. It is Porsche Speed Yellow and it came from Hawaii to California to Virginia where I bought it. Honolulu beach club parking sticker and state inspection sticker is on the bumper ! I should find out if it was sold first in Hawaii, you know spend 100 euros and find out what records are available.

Yes you are right, i said they were "original" because they are very used in VW cars, and a few models have those rims as stock!

yeah i SOMEHOW got a 1971 autostick 1302 to 95mph (off the clock) with the stock single port motor too. did take a while mind you.

asi salio el vocho estadounidense con ese tablero y con ese diseño de la parte delantera muy distinta ,ademas que tiene otra suspension delantera a la del vocho que conocemos esos vochos si mal no recuerdo traen resortes adelante no traen la barra torsion saludos desde mty

I like it a lot. The side exhaust however does not do it a favor, it looks weird. The engine would be even nicer with a dual carburator set-up.

my first car was a beetle, still own it. Would I recommend one? only if you like cars and want to work on a car, they are a joy to work on if you enjoy that kind of thing. not sure what they are saying about the handling, i find mine handles like a dream. Parts are in good supply and relatively cheap too. Test drive one if you get a chance, and if you like it make sure you do your research and check for rust.

The speedo marks 160km/h, but the marker passed 160, so i assumed it was about 170 km/h! I'll make a video some day, but the engine parts are original, except for the air filter!

Olha o interior foi todo forrado a pele preta e laranja, inclusive o tablier, os bancos de trás são os originais, os da frente são de um opel e a consola central é de um rover, e é só! O resto é tudo original!
