You are so right about getting out of those old beat-up clothes that we wear around the house! Last year, for the first time in my life, I had major medical issues. Couldn’t drive, couldn’t do much of anything. I had to just be at home and at all these doctors appointments. I started ordering new cute colorful clothes to wear while I waited to get better. Fun shirts and well-fitting jeans. Made a world of difference in my viewpoint! Helped me stay positive during recovery. Most of my old clothes are REALLY old, like 20 to 30 years old !!! but classic styles and quality fabrics that I always took good care of. They don’t look ratty or out of style, still fit great. But there was something so visually appealing about getting new clothes, wearing them really made me feel happy. Even if the only places I went to were the doctors offices and hospital labs. Ladies stopped me on the sidewalk to compliment me, what a fun boost to my attitude! I’m doing much better now, my doctor said my recovery is remarkable, she said it’s because of my cheery mood. My other doctor said that a positive attitude is 95% of any health recovery. I think new fun clothes helped me a lot. Now when I get the blues, my motto is: “Focus on the fashion!” BTW, I love your videos, your fashion tips are spot-on. Although I weigh the same as I did in college, my shape changed. Weirdly, my measurements got smaller in some areas, larger in others. Gravity is no joke! Hahaha.

I could wear them until I had hip surgery last year. However I did find a really cute pair of sandals that have an inch and a half thickness all the way around the bottom of the sandal I tried them on and the grip was sure and true and I absolutely love them I don't know maybe an idea for you in the future they might look a little Gothic compared to maybe what you would wear I wear mine with jeans

Thank you Heather! For me, the right colors are so important. I cannot wear white or black near my face. The current trend of all neutrals is not the best for me. Navy with some gold or coral looks great on me, as does brown and mustard. Also many of the current trends don’t work for me. I did most of those long ago anyway. Not going backwards.

My husband says thank you he wants me to get an entire new wardrobe. However I'm Gothic but I do notice there are some Gothic clothes out there for women that look nice. As far as jewelry because I'm Native American I wear squash blossoms I wear rings on every finger all my necklaces mean something to me and to my I guess you would say religion but I love your videos and I love that you're back I also have to tell you that I cannot wear women's clothes even though I'm 62 because I'm tall and thin so women's clothes are always too big I have to shop in the junior section

Wide leg pants are not the issue - fit is. The first white outfit is simply too small. In an appropriate size it would be fine, but I do agree the second choice is better.
