Hi, yes to swimming! I’m 76 and have been swimming regularly all my life; even here in the northeast there are indoor pool options in many communities. Because my legs are in bad shape I wear board shorts and don’t feel exposed.

Brilliant idea to consider wearing “active wear” clothing for summer heat. They are made to wick perspiration. I just moved to a hotter climate so looking for tips of what to wear in the heat. Thx for this and all them, really. I’m on it!!

Great video! I'll be 52 in September and I'm having some horrible hot flashes so I'm going to check what material my clothes are made of! I have a question about color. Maybe you can help. I have several white tops for summer. I know white is cooler and probably the most common color for summer BUT why do I hate myself in white?? I see pics of myself and I look bigger probably because I'm an inverted triangle AND apple. But the white color is so stark against my pale skin. I have ash blonde/gray/white-ish hair too and so I'm thinking about getting rid of all my white tops. Is there another color that I could use to replace them?? I always felt that beige looked better on darker skin tones. Am I wrong??

I like to do a test with all my colors of clothes.(just hold them up to my face) Lately I've found that jewel tones like royal blue, purple and red look great with my white-ish hair. I don't look great in white either but need to show white shirts and tees for others.

I love all of the outfits!! Such great tips, Heather. ❤ I've noticed that swimsuits with a pattern can help disguise parts we're not always thrilled with. I have a medium-size floral pattern in colors that compliment my skin tone and feel more comfortable in that.

i love 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7. I have some outfits similar to what you showed so I'm going to try to remember and put them together like this. I love your ideas, they've been so helpful, very encouraging , too. We have a pool but the pump broke a few years ago and haven't been able to replace it, we're working on having the a/c fixed first. It's been 103 (or more) here in Atascocita, Texas with the heat index 116 and summer has just started. Thank you for these wonderful videos. Stay cool!!!

Black is hot as it conducts heat so two of the bathing suits would be hot. Crocs and Clarks sandals are stylish and comfortable. The little sweaters look comfortable and cool to use over sleeveless tops.

I haven’t been swimming for close to eight years. We had a neighborhood pool we belonged to. And we used to take the grandkids. But that pool was always like ice water. So I quit going. But if I move, I will have a pool in my yard. I know it’s great exercise. And I need it for my arms. I love the outfits. I wear shorts everyday. And they definitely aren’t short shorts. I would not feel comfortable in them. And I do have the attitude. I figure if someone doesn’t like the way I look they can turn their head.

For white shoes: put a dish washer Tab in Hot water. Ad cooler water and let the shoes, also white t- shirts over night in there. Then good wasching, tshirt in washing Maschine. Wonder!@@
