Surah Taubah | Nasser al Qatami سورة التوبة | ناصر القطامي

1. [This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists.
2.So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.
3. And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allah . And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.
4. Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].
5. And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
6. And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah . Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.

JazakAllaahu-Khair for correcting the mistake and also for all of your general efforts. Normally I'm against donations for this type of work because I believe it should be done solely Feesabeelillaah and not for money, however after seeing what exactly the money is going towards (i.e. equipment etc.) then Inshaa Allaah the money will go towards a good cause and bring about much Khair. When I get paid next month I shall donate Inshaa Allaah! Keep up the great work always and never give up or become wearisome as there is abundant 'Ajah in this type of work till Yawmul-Qiyaamah Inshaa Allaah!! BarakAllaahu-Feekum! : )

Is there somebody here who can help me with Arabic grammar here? At âyah 60, it says: إِنَّمَا الصَدَقَاتُ لِ... After the 'لِ', the following words/phrases that are meant to be affected by the 'لِ' should be majroor: اَلْفُقَرَاءِ → This is majroor, no problem اَلْمَسَاكِينَ → This too is majroor, no problem اَلْعَامِلِينَ عَلِيهَا → Majroor, no problem مَؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ → This is a noun combination (I am 90% sure of this, I'm not perfectly sure because I don't know anything about the word 'muallafah', except that it is a noun and is the maf3ool of the verb 'allafa', and that verb, I do not know), known as idaafah in Arabic I suppose. The first word is the mudaaf, and it is majroor, due to the 'لِ' waaay back in the sentence. Now, if this indeed IS an idaafah, the second word, no matter what, should be majroor, BUT, it is marfoo3.... Why? What am I missing?

Your missing the meaning of the word am sorry I don't know how to type Arabic in a phone I know how to write in a book or something else but not in a phone I think the word was (quluubuhum) which means {their hearts} good luck with the rest🤣🤣

If you're still at a loss, remember that the first term of an iDaafa can never have 'al' affixed to it. You curiously omit this 'al' in your example; does the video omit it as well? "Almu'allafa" can mean the consolidation or bringing together, as well as authorship. Perhaps it was meant to stand on its own?
