What good would that do in a digital age when you could learn electrical engineering from your simple computers in your toys. Youd be future proof.

@@TheCynicalNihilist I both agree and disagree with you. You have a big point about our age being different. Nowadays children understand more about robotics, AI, computers, Algorithms etc through toys and games which are more usefull to future or modern carrers. But first of all everything is usefull even indirectly. Anybody in physics and technology should understand the basics of physics, quantum and mechanical engineering. The more primer technology you see and study, the more you built your knowledge deeply. Secondly knowledge about something isnt always only just about usefulness. It is either because of passion or because it helps you keep your mind sharper (the second is still usefull even indirectly). For example, maybe understanding or studying the mechanics of an old clock is not very usefull today but it is far more preferrable and usefull as a hobby instead of watching reality shows. I dont know if you get my point of view.
